Cenote Wonderland

Loved the first three cenotes and the group of people I was traveling with. The fourth Cenote and the lunch were below average. The driver was a very nice kind man but I don't even know his name as he never introduced himself. There was no welcome to the tour greeting. And no information given on the area or the Cenotes. I give this four star for the first three cenotes which were magnificent. This tour was about $40 more than the other Cenote tour on offer. I chose this one because I thought I would be getting something more, but I'm not sure I did. Don't get me wrong the cenotes are fantastic to visit. There's just room for improvement especially with the food. Please note that it's a very long day before you eat so bring snacks. And some of the cenotes require you to climb down stairs. It's manageable but be prepared with proper footwear.

As promised, Mauricio led us on a full day tour of 4 cenotes. After visiting two cenotes earlier in the week, I was wondering if I should skip out on this excursion. I'm glad I didn't. We visited the full gamut of cenotes... Covered, partially covered and fully open. Each was unique and fun. We spent the right amount of time at each one. After a full day of swimming, we had a satisfying late lunch featuring Yucatecan specialties.

Relaxing day at the cenotes

This tour was amazing. We visited 4 cenotes throughout the day. Each cenote had unique features. The tour guide had a lot of information to share about the cenotes, how they are formed and their unique features. Swimming in the cenotes was relaxing and refreshing. I highly recommend this tour.
