Our guide ( Herman) gave us an excellent tour of some of the historic places and buildings in Medillin. Herman also discussed the political history of and impact on today’s Colombia. Herman walked at a good pace so we could cover key monuments. He paced it well allowing time for questions.

This was a good tour overall. The day before I had a tour with the same company, but a different tour guide and enjoyed it. I’m not going to reduce the score but this tour guide spent a lot of time talking about the white powder substance. I understand his story at the beginning and how it personally affected his family. I had no problem with that, but to continue to bring it up in the tour was unnecessary. I would recommend this tour but maybe hopefully you can get a different tour guide than Digo.

We were greatly surprised with this tour. Diomer was able to show us a city that is still transforming and full of hope, despite its dark moments in the past. You get to visit places that are symbol of this transformation and that are part of the "paisa" (locals) spirit.

She's knowledgeable, passionate and very skilled at her job. The way she laid out information made it easy to understand and follow, and she brought the city to life with her tour. Understanding Colombian History

I came to know better Colombian history. The guide tried to explain the past dark history from the objective perspective. Being taken to the site and having it explained there helped me understand better. The explanation was very clear and persuasive but the accent was a bit hard to understand, which was a minor flaw.
