Itinerary

This guided Segway tour is the perfect way to see and learn about Mazatlan. Meet your guide at a central location and receive a safety briefing on operating your Segway.

Then, set off after your guide, who takes you through Old Town and the waterfront. With a Segway, you’ll cover more distance than the typical walking tour. See the Clavadista, the cathedral, Plazuela Machado, and Olas Altas. Hear about the city’s history as you photograph the beautiful architecture.

During the tour, get ready for a special sightseeing treat: a diving tradition in Mazatlan. At an oceanside park on the Malecon, watch daredevil divers try to time their jumps to take advantage of the greater water depth afforded by the incoming waves.

This trip was awesome!!! Don't miss out on this one. The segways were intimidating at first. But once you get it we had the most fun ever. The sights are awesome and our guides were truly great. Very knowledgeable and took us to some places that had we not booked this tour we most likely would not have seen. We felt safe the entire time and I hope to go do this again some day!

Carlos or Charlie as his friends call him 😉 is very knowledgeable about his hometown and shares tons of information. He was patient with me as I’ve never ridden a Segway before but I felt like a pro in no time, zipping around the streets of old town and zipping down the Malecon. This was a small group tour and a fun filled 2 hours. We couldn’t stop smiling. Charlie took photos for us and even negotiated our cab fare back to the ship. Thank you Charlie for a memorable day. We promise to look you up when we’re back in Mazetlan!

One of the best excursions I've ever taken! Carlos our guy was fantastic. He made sure we were confident on our segways before we went. Toured all of downtown historic area and all along the boardwalk next to the ocean. I'd never been on a Segway and it was so much fun! I highly highly recommend this!

Go to the Bikas bike rental shop (about 2 doors down), not the Hotel Belmar desk as listed in the calendar invite after you book the tour. Our tour guide Carlos was excellent, and you could really feel his love for the city of Mazatlan. Very informative and engaging. Two thumbs up from us 👍👍

We were greeted by Gustavo our guide on this Segway tour through old town Mazatlan. He was prompt and professional. His instructions on operating the Segway was excellent and we were on our way in no time (we have no experience on Segways). We had sights and history of Mazatlan. Would recommend this experience and Gustavo In Mazatlan.

Definitely take sn Uber to the meeting place. Taxi charges $20. They were very aggressive. We booked thru our Uber app. We walked just outside the cruise terminal where Uber will pick you up. Felt completely safe. Uber cost usually less than $5 US Dollars. It charges in pesos but our bank converted. We also used a converter app on our phone just so we could calculate the cost. Uber was super easy & usually there in less than 3 minutes. GUSTAVO was our tour guide. He was awesome! Very knowledgeable of the history of the city. His instructions of how to use the Segway were very easy to learn and understand. He was also so patient and kind in helping us learn. He was kind and caring throughout the tour, checking to see that we were ok & making sure that we were safe. He took us to a craft market square. Most of the goods there were reasonably priced. We purchased some things there. But GUSTAVO made sure we were ok with those prices. I highly recommend this tour. Also there is a Walmart here in this city. Go there to buy the rest of your souvenirs. Do not purchase at the markets by the cruise terminal. For example. Magnets at terminal-$12.00..magnets at Walmart-$1.52. We took an Uber to Walmart for $3.56.

I was hesitant and incredibly nervous to operate a Segway based on previous failed hoverboard attempts but Carlos QUICKLY set my mind and ease and miraculously had me confident in a matter of minutes. I'd do this tour every day if I could. We learned so much valuable Mazatlán history in an intimate setting. You will feel confident exploring the historic district independently after your time with Carlos. And, you'll be armed with all the essential knowledge relating to the early settlers in the area plus fun facts to share with your friends. I HIGHLY recommend this tour to everyone able to independently stand for two hours. Carlos was born in Mazatlán, he knows his stuff. You won't find a better tour guide. Better yet, he is an official tour guide with the Secretary of Tourism ... and he takes your photo for you to ensure you have a souvenir memory of your adventure.

Loved this 2 hour tour around Mazatlan! Our local guide Gus was very knowledgeable about the various areas we visited and so so nice! One of the best guides we've ever had. We toured several city squares, many small streets with beautiful homes and architecture. Then went to north beach to see the local fisherman and boats. Covered a lot of ground and the 2 hours flew by! Highly recommend this tour!!

This is the 2nd time with Carlos and we simply enjoyed it once again. Carlos has soich knowledge of his city and truly loves his job and his city's history. This is a MUST ADD adventure if you are ever in Mazatlan. He also makes riding the segways the easiest thing to do! You must book this excursion.
