The van trip thru the countryside was amazing. Rooster farms, tequila plantations and little quaint towns. Stopping for fresh blue corn tortillas and fresh cheese in La Noria was a treat. The whole crew for ziplining were very professional and so helpful. I was my sister 74 who couldn't finish all 12 stations and they were so kind and attentive to get her back down. The lunch was exquisite from the fresh tortilla's, guacamole, pico de gallo, fire roasted cheese, burritos and of course the drinks. I would recommend this trip to anyone but mention to build up the strength in their lower body for landing a little more gently.

Loved it!!

Kristie_M, Oct 2024
We had a great experience on this ziplining excursion! They picked us up in a nice van and it was about a 1 hour drive from our cruise ship port. All of the guides were so nice and helpful and the ziplining was so fun! The views of the jungle were gorgeous. The lunch afterward was delicious and plentiful. Basically an authentic all-you-can-eat Mexican feast. My kids, 7 & 9, loved the ziplining and lunch. I did get a ton of bug bites on my ankles so I would recommend wearing bug spray and it is super muggy so plan on hydrating! They did give us each a bottle of water during the ziplining. Highly recommend this activity for families but probably not for kids under 5/6 as it is a bit of hiking and carrying equipment.

Great fun all around!!

LORNA_R, Sep 2024
It was very easy to find the rep when we got off of our cruise ship. Drove about an hour from the city into the jungle and small towns. It was quite scenic. Felt very safe with the team and the harness. Thoroughly enjoyed the 12 ziplines overlooking scenic views. Lunch afterwards was authentic and delicious. One of our favorite experiences!!

We love Fernando! <3

Fernando our driver was amazing!!! He told us about Mazatlán's history and took us a different route back to port to show us the dam, La Noria, drove all the way through Mazatlán, and took us to an agave farm/tequila farm to buy vanilla. The zip lining guides were great as well and took very good care of us. The food was amazing, definitely the best mangos we've ever eaten! The whole experience from start to end was very easy. There is a small bit of hiking between zip lines and it was very hot with the humidity in early September, but they provided water bottles for us and the trails were almost all shaded. Definitely use bug spray! The zip lines were terrifying but fun and the guides were very familiar with the course. Overall a great experience!

Amazing day while in port.

We booked this excursion just before sailing from Long Beach. For some reason even though i booked the 1030am excursion we were scheduled for the 9am. All it took was a direct call to the zipline operator and the issue was resloved. The pick-up at the pier went smooth and since we were the only group we got a small taxi that stayed with us the entire day. Originally, I was only going along for the ride while my daughters ziplined, but I was given a great price to do an ATV tour. Upon arrival we were introduced to the staff by our driver and the girls were off with there guides, just the two of them. I then met my guide and it turned out I was the only one riding. So basically we all got private excursions. My daughters and guides eventually caught up to a smaller group on the ziplines but they said it was still great. They loved their guides, Carlos and Carlos, who they said were funny, friendly and professional. My ATV tour was just as good and Hector did a great job. To top it all off the included lunch is absolutely amazing! So so much food. It was really good and we felt bad not finishing it all. Our driver then returned us to the ship another 45 min drive but comfortable. Not sure if everyone will luck out and basically get private tours as that doesn't help the operator, but this is a must do when in Marzatlan. Great job!

100/10 recommended

First time doing this activity and it was awesome, a bit scary but a one for the books, all the staff super friendly and of course the food is also the best.

Go from October to February

Brad_J, Jun 2024
Here's the deal: Go in October to February. We went in June and it was HOT HOT HOT. No shade, whatsoever. All the bushes and trees are brown and dead looking. The green up after the rainy season in July/August. The meal was absolutely the best meal we've ever had--bar none--on any excursion. Crew is very friendly and nice.

Great family adventure.

Hilary_R, Apr 2024
Ziplining was fun, and the meal provided afterward was delicious. There were 10 in our party ages 7-adult, everyone had a great time. A word of warning: they oil the zipline cables occasionally for maintenance, well, I guess they had oiled them recently because little flecks of oil got on our clothes and faces. It did not dampen our enjoyment, but wear older clothes in case you get oil flecks on them.

Pretty basic zip lining...

Francesca_F, Apr 2024
Pretty basic zip lining experience, with lunch and a tequila tasting. Not sure it was really worth the cost, but there was nothing wrong with the experience -- except the marijuana tequila I tried, which surprisingly got me VERY high hours after I had it. Would have loved a warning on that...

Well done. Fun. I was in the second group of the day.

Pamela_L, Apr 2024
Wanted to give 4 1/2 but system wouldn't let me. The first group was large. I was the only one in the second group, but road in with kayakers. Transport was a bit over an hour. Air con was on high, so bring a jacket if that's an issue. Also, if you are in the second group of the day, might want to be sure to eat well before you go, &/or bring snacks. Drinks are readily available. The main waiting area is at a restaurant and you can ask for something, but they want to feed the van groups as a group in general. Could have been a non issue, but as I was solo, the great zipline guys had me go on the 12 lines back to back. They were great and kept checking in on me. After line #9 I was dizzy with symptoms of hypoglycemia. Nothing too dreadful. I took a minute then finished the 12 lines, enjoying it all the way. Except for my break. I asked for a snack on my return, and they graciously complied. I had read reviews to wear athletic shoes..good tip! I was glad. There are funny stairs, rocks and trails between the lines. Zip lining was fun, but the getting to see the rural villages and people was also wonderful.

zipline fun: drive not

Matthew_H, Apr 2024
The ziplining experience was great. the 2+ hour drive to get there and back wasn't. The driver made like 10 stops to pickup various people before driving to the zipline along a very windey road. Taking a taxi there independently didn't appear to be an optikn. I was quite nauseous.

Do NOT do this excursion!

Stephanie_R, Apr 2024
The pictures shown of lush green and relaxing on the line is a false representation. This tour was long, hot, the landscape was dry and arid, super dirty. We left early because it wasn't safe. The lines were too fast and there was not padding on the trees that you could easily slam into. The guy on the end of the line had to basically catch you flying in. They gave you a meal which was nice. The tequila tasting was an experience too, all the bottles were dirty and tasted terrible. The bus ride to and from was hot and LONG almost 90 minutes each way. Very disappointed in this experience.

Helpful staff and very fin

Kris_G, Mar 2024
Lovely to get out of town into the hills and see local town, plants, etc. ziplining was great - the guides were good humoured and helpful making sure everything was safe as we clipped and unclippped. The linch was amazing - lovely Mexican food, plenty of it, and no trouble for dairy- free folks. Highly recommended you wear shoes, not sandals.

Great Staff

Misael_M, Mar 2024
Great staff, amazing people and worth the trip. They made us feel safe, provided us with some authentic Mexican food and a bottled water during our zip line.

Fun

Beatrice_R, Jan 2024
It was over an hour from hotel to get to zip spot. You fo 12 zips some were over 300 yards. After ziplining you get feed well and visit some other local vendors for Tequila and leather goods. Be sure to tip your guide and cooks.

Multiple Ziplines...

Erica_R, Jan 2024
Multiple Ziplines unexpected food and extra features such as tequila tasting and visiting an authentic leather shop

Great meal, mediocre zipline

Christy_C, Jan 2024
I’ve zip lined in Hawaii, Utah, and Costa Rica. Comparatively, this was just okay. The good: The people were very nice and the food was delicious. It was fun to get out of the city and go to a less touristy town of about 200 people. The not-so-good: it’s a drive from the cruise port- about 50 minutes, (but in a very comfortable van with A/C). The equipment was pretty basic and old school, but safe and functional. There was, however, an uncomfortable about of duct tape over the ends of the cable, whose stoppers seemed to consist of a pool noodle covering the cable, and layered in duct tape. My assumption is that the duct tape was really to just hold the cushion stops in place and protect them from wearing down as quickly, and to cover any loose ends that could cause scratching, but it’s hard to be sure. I was also glad that our group was mostly lightweights because it alleviated concerns about how much weight the lines could bear. And since we had to wiggle the handle back and forth to assist in the braking process, I was glad we didn’t bring our 4 year old. The views ride over the tree tops back and forth across a ravine, but there’s not much to see besides tree tops. Overall it was an enjoyable time, a great meal and soda, small leather shop (a few sandals and belts and wallets) and small jewelry shop (I like supporting small family businesses), but my guess is that most of the expense is to cover the gas for the long drive there.

Perfect!

The zip lines were so thrilling. The people guiding us were fantastic and the lunch was the absolute best!

Was a great experience. The team did a great job keeping us safe. Great views and experience. Food was great too.

Fun adventure with fantastic lunch!

Jamie_P, Oct 2023
Zip lines were okay and it was fun to be able to ride hands free or upside down, but the real gem was the fantastic lunch of homemade burritos at the end!

Great time. Fully recommend

Bill_T, Oct 2023
Great time zip lining with the crew. Was glad to see that there were a good number of long runs. Lunch was plentiful and tasty.

Wonderful 10/10 Experience

melfab15, Aug 2023
Amazing experience! 1. Road up is a little bit windy so keep that in mind if you get car sick 2. Staff was wonderful 3. Met us in the cruise port, very easy to find 4. Not too scary (12 year old son went) 5. The best part of this was the staff and the lunch at the end. We are from CA and get great mexican food but this was the best we have ever had. All authentic and made from scratch. Wonderful experience. Would 100% recommend

Simply the best

Fernando_R, Jul 2023
This was a last-minute excursion, but I'm glad we did it. The guys were very friendly and fun at the same time. Twelve zip lines are worth the price!!

High desert zipping fun!

Joshua_F, Jul 2023
Zipping through the air is always a unique experience and this one was interesting. The area is located in a high desert about 1 hour by car inland from the Port of Mazatlan where our cruise ship docked. The group was easy to find in port and the van ride out was long but comfortable. When you arrive they have restrooms and some lockers to store your personal gear but you can also leave it in the van as once you are setup with your harness and gear you drive up out of town a bit to the start of the zip lining course. The team is very professional and knowledgeable. As with any ziplining course, the quality of the harness is important as is the attachment device. The gear is on the older side but still of good quality. It was a great experience with around 12 lines to zip along over the dry river bed and ravines. Most times of the year it is a very dry area. The post adventure lunch was very good and the local tequila operation had some great flavors. I would highly recommend the tour they worked with all ages of kids and weights. No one got stuck along the line during our group visit. Just keep in mind that there is a bit of a drive to get there when booking as part of a cruise experience. Also make sure to try Pacifico as it is brewed in Mazatlan.

Zip lining Through The Jungle

Elizabeth_W, Jun 2023
My guide driver Omar is very kind and always takes good care of me. The adventure guides are very professional and never left me to fend for myself. The zip lining is a very strenuous exercise. No time to take pictures.

Lots of fun and great food!

Sydney_H, Jun 2023
We loved this excursion. There was about a 1 hour shuttle from the cruise port. Then you got to go zip lining right away. There was a little course, so you got to zip line about 10 times. We went in late May, and it wasn’t very green, it was actually pretty dried up. The experience was still great. The zip lining was so fun, and the crew was very friendly and helpful. The taco lunch was one of the best parts, you got authentic burritos, nachos, enough food to feel nice and full. All in all, it was a great day! The length of the excursion including the shuttle ride there and back was about 5 hours.

Zip lining

Diane_L, Mar 2023
The zip lining was a lot of fun. However I was very disappointed that the ad said a photographer would take pictures that you could then purchase. I did not take any pictures and there was no photographer so I have no pictures from this adventure. All other parts of the trip were fun.
