We were picked up promptly at our hotel by Fernando. Our van had a technical problem and we had to pull over but a new van came to get us within 5 minutes. We got to stay with our driver which was comforting because he was very friendly. It was about a 40 minute drive to the tequila ranch. Comfortable van and plenty to look at on the way, especially once we got off the highway. The staff at the ranch/restaurant were extremely nice and welcoming. Our driver gave us a tour of the tequila distillery, explaining the process from start to finish. From there we tasted the tequilas. There was another large group from a cruise ship who were on a tight timeline so we let them ATV first. While we waited we got a little hungry and they brought us chips, salsa, beans, quesadillas to snack on. Then, we rode ATVs through some agave fields and to the beach. We took a break halfway to walk along the beach and enjoy beverages. Upon returning to the ranch we had a super delicious lunch with more tequila and drinks! I can't say enough how friendly the staff were. Armando and Fatima were so attentive and kept the drinks coming. I would highly recommend for that experience alone. It was very scenic sitting among the agave plants and looking at all the different animals (cows, chickens, rabbits, etc.) Didn't feel any pressure to buy anything extra, all the drinks (we had beers too) were included for free. Our tour was even on Christmas day and it was a great way to spend the holiday.

Awesome time with ATVs the staff is wonderful and we met the owner Mr. Lionso. Super nice. Food was home cooked and amazing fresh fruits and veggies with home.made Queso and tortillas. We drove thru wooded area on the beach and in a farming area. The expierence was just perfect. Plenty to drink from coke to beer and tequila. Thanks for an amazing time

We were picked up right outside of the port by a private van. Our driver Skippo was great and very informative about the area. Once we arrived on the ranch we were greeted and given a tequila tasting. Then the kitchen prepared a delicious lunch, with fresh table side queso, chicken taquitos, fresh lemonade along with a variety of other choices. After lunch we signed waivers, were fitted for helmets and our guide lead us onto the driving path. Scenery was fantastic we eventually made it onto their private beach and back down to the ranch. We met the owners and Skippo gave us a nice history lesson on the family, ranch and history of the farm then escorted back to port. We enjoyed our experience 100%.

The 4 wheeler tour was amazing. Going through the ranch and country side was amazing. And going for miles along side the waves was excellent. The seaside part was the best. The lunch and tequila was excellent. Meeting the land owner and his family who run the ranch and restaurant was exceptional. My tour guide who picked me up was 5 stars.

My family and I got picked up, which I recommend because it’s tricky finding the place. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner and his family; they were very hospitable.
After the jungle ride, we visited the beach, which was an amazing place to take pictures. Soon after, we had delicious food and Mezcal tasting! The owner was gracious to coordinate horseback riding.
I highly recommend this activity, if you plan to visit Mazatlan.

The pickup spot was easy to confuse with all the other aggressive vendors. But once located it was an outstanding trip that my two adult kids and I would do again. The quads looked newer and no one had issues. Rode through woods and along the beach. Met the owner Mr Lionso and his family. Great experience. I will say pack a face mask or like your clothes your face is gonna have dirt/dust all over it.

Overall good experience they picked us up at port and we took a can ride to our location. We got on our own ATVs and rode through some trails to the beach. Stopped at the beach for a bit and some people played in the water. They brought water for the group so we always had a water which was great. If I would have worn sandals like some I would have gotten in the water. They provide a helmet and glasses but charge 6$ for a face cover. I didn’t buy one but it was very dusty so I’d recommend bringing one . It was already dusty and some teenager was messing around kicking up a lot more dust . That sucked a lot I wish they would have moved him to the back . When we got back we had some decent food and time for tequila. We don’t drink so we just waited. We didn’t cross a creek bridge like in the picture just trails and the beach. The van ride wasn’t horribly long I’d say about 30-45 minutes. However the air conditioning did not work well at all. Everyone was pretty miserable . We opened the two windows that opened to get some air movement but that was pretty miserable especially for the little ones. It was a pretty good experience but the van ride there and back kinda killed it for me . I don’t regret it but probably wouldn’t go a second time .

I’ve traveled the world & Veranos Sinaloa has to be the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited. This entire experience was beyond what we were expecting. We did the hot springs and ATV. They picked us up from our hotel and we drove about an hour out. Felt super safe the entire time and everyone on the ground felt like family. We started with ATV riding through a beautiful little town and mountains. It was AMAZING! Then did the hot springs then had a super authentic Mexican lunch. Everything was delicious! We then toured their agave factory and did some tequila tasting. All the tequilas were so delicious! I had such an amazing time and already booking my next trip! Don’t think twice…. Book this asap!!! - Stephanie from Atlanta, Georgia

Where this tour is at is La Noria. A small town or village outside of Mazatlan. It's very desert out there so the ride was mostly dirt roads, trees, cows, and cacti. You do ride across a river but otherwise no much of a view, but it is very fun! Husband and I rode together but you can ride seperate too. We had a great time and the lunch is delicious. It was actually our more favorite meal from our whole week in Mazatlan and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

It was so much fun driving the ATVs. Lunch was very good. 1/2 hour out of Mazatlan, and had a really nice taxi driver named Maria.
Lilia_H, Mar 2024
We had paid for an ATV ride each, a few mins into the tour the guide’s ATV stopped working and the only option we were given was to share our ATV and give the guide one of ours. We asked if that was the only option and were told yes so we couldn’t go back for a new one. After the ride we asked about a compensation and were told we should have asked to come back although we mentioned that’ll that option was not offered nor did we know we could demand that. I’ve tried to get ahold of the agency to ask about this issue with no answer yet.
Beatrice_R, Jan 2024
It was fun but very very dusty so be sure to take some kind of face cover. The 4 wheelers are manual shift. Nice view of the area did ho very fast and had to follow the leader. Be sure to take along some small bills for tipping. $5 us goes along way in Mexico!

Crossing the bridge over the river in the ATVs and seeing the beautiful towns on the way was a few of the highlights.

We did the ATV tour in Mazatlan and totally enjoyed it. We met Jose Luis right outside the port, and were given exact details on how to find him from the excellent communication prior to the trip.
We were picked up right at the port in a nice van and transported about 45 minutes north of the city to a restaurant named Mr Lionso where our adventure began and ended. After a few minutes where we were offered drinks and then fitted for helmets and goggles we mounted up on the ATVs and began. Our guides took us through arid landscapes with blue agave growing everywhere, around lakes, through the woods where we had to maneuver around twists and turns, and eventually out onto a beautiful long beach in a completely isolated area. We stopped there for water, and some people played in the ocean and we all took pictures, then we loaded up and cruised along the beach for a while before returning up to the restaurant. There we were offered beers and several types of tequila, all of which were made on site from the agave growing there. They brought us a beautiful and tasty purple drink made from hibiscus that was perfect after the dusty ride. Then they brought out our delicious lunch. Beef flautas, with guacamole and cactus, along with a lovely salsa roja that had a little bit of spice to it. Then they made tequila queso in a flaming mocajete and served with freshly made tortillas. An amazing meal and very filling. You could buy the tequilas and other items from the gift shop, and then loaded up for the ride back to the port. Excellent adventure and service, would definitely do this again.

ATV ride was okay. Not quite as exciting as promised and most of it was riding on the road, but the real gem was the fantastic lunch of homemade burritos at the end.
We agreed to upgrade our zip line tickets to combo with ATV. Not really worth the price of both.

First and foremost, my guide and driver Omar is absolutely fantastic. He is kind and thoughtful. He has been a true gift through out both of my tours with your company.
The ATVing was fun and I enjoyed it very much. ATVing on the beach is more difficult and I wish I could have taken pictures, but on the sand if you stop you sink.

Awesome great experience would definitely recommend. Everything I expected. I was the only one there but definitely worth visiting.

The 5-hour tour lasted three hours, which was plenty of time but not what we paid for. We did not receive a refund or an acknowledgment. That said, the tour was great. Umberto Jr. Was fantastic. The meal was delicious. The staff was lovely and the experience was positive.

AVOID THIS TRIP!
The pick up was chaotic, we had to wait 30 mins after the scheduled departure from the port while they tried to secure additional groups.
Once in the van, 5 minutes in they had to pull over and take a head count.
40 mins into the drive, we made a turn, and the driver said "Its another 30-40 minutes from here". (We had NO IDEA how far we would have to drive for this tour).
Once we arrived, there was no communication. We had to track someone down to tell them we were there for an ATV tour. Once they secured a guide, they told us and another group that they did not have enough ATV's and we would have to pair up. We told them that was fine only if we would be refunded. Then they miraculously had ore ATV's show up.
Our guide road a dirt bike, and took us down a dirt road for about 10 mins to an area with 5 cows, pulled over, and took our pictures. He told us nothing about where we were (there wasn't much), and the stop seemed very strange. We turned around and went back down the dirt road to the main paved road. Turned into a town, again with no stop or information on what we were seeing, through the town to a river bed, and back through the town then returned to the starting place. There was no fun trail to ride on, no reference of what we were seeing, and a really lackadaisical approach to the whole thing.
Once we returned, the best part of the trip was the lunch. It was delicious but confusing. We were served different items at different times, but had they been served together, would have made sense. First, the burritos arrived. We devoured those. Then a stone pot of salsa was delivered, and we got to mash it up which was fun, but no burritos to put it on. Next arrived guac, other salsas, tortillas & tequila cheese. The tequila cheese was INCREDIBLE!
After we ate, we were sent into their tasting room to try some tequilas. They had several unique flavors and we bought a few. Then we were sent to the leather & silver room. The items were cool, but inventory was limited and we were ready to go.
We had to wait another hour and 15 minutes before they loaded up the vans for the LOOOOONG drive back. There was no organization around loading people up, and the timing of it all.
The advertisement says this will be 3-4 hours, however, we were gone for well over 5.5 hours.

Great time going through some trails and towns. The staff made sure we were safe and the ATVs worked great. The surprise lunch at the end was great. Very good food.

Our tour was scheduled to begin at 10:30, so we began disembarking at the port of Mazatlan around 10:00. After getting through the shops, we easily found the tour group stand and was introduced to our guide, Martin (as he said, like martini without the “I”). There were 2 other groups from our ship that were going to the same location but were zip lining and were already in the comfort of the air conditioned modern van. Martin almost immediately put all of us at ease by asking what time we had to be back on board the ship and assured us that he’d have us back in plenty of time.
From the port, Martin drove us into the mountains above Mazatlan. Along the 40-45 minute ride, he shared with the information about the flora and fauna of the areas we were driving through. While driving, we passed through many small towns and a lot of agricultural areas.
Once we arrived in the mountain village of Verano, the two other groups prepared to go zip lining while my husband and I waited for the ATVs to return from their previous tour. The central location of the village has clean bathrooms and the people wanted to feed us! We chose to eat after the ride.
The ATV ride was exhilarating. My husband and I were joined by 6 others and we drove through the mountain trails around the village, then we drove on the highway to the tiny, well maintained town of El Recoco. The guides took us through the town down to the riverbank and we drove along the very low river and even had the opportunity to splash through some water. After racing along the river, we returned to the town where we stopped at a market and could purchase refreshments. Once we were done there, we headed back into the highway and up the back mountain roads into Verano again.
Once back in the village, we washed our faces and hands then were treated to a filling lunch that was prepared in front of us. We enjoyed the guacamole, pico de gallo, and fresh made tortillas in addition to the flame melted cheese. (It was sooo good). Lunch also included a burrito, chips, and a beer/soda/water and fresh roasted veggies that we ground into salsa using a pestle and mortar at our table.
Before getting back in the van, Martin took us over to a small shop where there was tequila tasting and we bought some almond flavored mezcal and coffee flavored tequila that was made in the village of Verano.
Sadly, one of the zip liners was dehydrated, so we ended up riding back to the port. Earlier in the day, Martin did offer the drive us through some of the tourist locations in Mazatlan and offered to either drop us off there where we could walk back to the port or he’d take us back to the port.
All in all, I’d highly recommend this adventure.
