We had an amazing time on this tour. The ATV rides were so much fun, taking you through different scenery and the lunch was delicious. Probably the best Mexican food we’ve had! The tour guides took their time to tell you about the ranch and were very attentive. Highly recommend this tour!

The ATV tour is a simple but fun experience, there's nothing to see on the tour itself as you will be on a dirt road most of the tour. You will also ride on the beach where you will take a short break
This is where you meet up with those on the horse riding tour. Two friendly dogs also accompany the horse tour. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. If you like tequila, the host will mix a tequila cheese dish to go with the lunch provided. The ranch also has goats and donkeys. You'll enjoy it!

AMAZING!!!! It was the highlight of our trip! The ATVs were great and riding on the beach and the COLD beer by the ocean was perfect. Lunch and rattle snake tequila was my favorite part. Thank you!!

We had so much fun on the ranch! Absolutely breathtaking views. Try the Tamarind tequila, it was absolutely delicious!

We had fun. The ATV's worked great, they provided goggles and helmets. The food and drinks were good.

This is the best experience ever. You must do this experience. They take care of everything. You only need to enjoy! The quad ride was amazing through a forest and onto the beach where the turtles nest. The ocean here is amazing. Then an amazing lunch and the best tasting ever. They pick you up and bring you back. The people are so helpful and nice. We were by ourselves and our quad guide was amazing. A beer along the way, told us about the turtles and there was one on the beach. After a delicious lunch, they gave us a tour of the production and explained the process. And we tasted a few. I liked the hazelnut one best, it was a cream. So delicious. I had to buy a bottle. The gift shop was nice and I got an amazing pendant handmade for only $25 Canadian. It is my favorite day of our 5 week stay in Mazatlan.

Beginner friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the ATV trip around the agave plantation. The tequila cheese at lunch was amazing. Had a wonderful time

The ATV experience was amazing. We had lots of fun riding on the beach! The food was delicious and the guide was super kind and helpful whenever one of us got stuck. The ranch was also very beautiful. I agree with others, it would’ve been nice if the driver could have explained the experience or talked about the history of the area before we arrived.

This is a super cool ATV experience. Much more beautiful than I even imagined. Agave fields, farmland, forested land, desert land, marshes, birds, private beach with a city view in the background. Such a beautiful day! A very traditional, but simple lunch with amazing and friendly hosts. Mr. Lionso, the ranch owner, showed me the wall of photos and shared the history of this multi-generational ranch from the time of his great-grandparents. Lovely family owned business. Head's up, that it is some distance from Mazatlan. We were picked up in the port area and driven in a very new and comfortable van (very professional). At one point it seems like we were headed down a random dirt road from the highway, but don't fret -- it's really all part of the charm. I highly recommend.

Very good experience. Quads are in good shape,….slower ride behind guides quad. Drove down the beach 1/2 mile. Too cool really. Beer was good and cold! Tequila was awesome. Glad we went on this tour.

Every aspect of this tour was excellent including transportation to the ranch and lunch. ATVs were excellent. No pressure to buy tequila and interesting to see how it was made.

All of the workers, guides, and hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. It was an enjoyable tour that is well worth the fair price.

What a great experience in terms of the culture experience the food, seeing their tequila farm agave great people great food great experience and safety was a top priority

This was so incredibly worth it! The ATV was a little hard for me to drive and I got stuck a couple of times, but the way they have the guides staggered throughout the group meant I was never alone and got immediate assistance. Everyone is super nice and welcoming one girl forgot to put on sunblock and requested some and they had some for her. There are bathrooms on site as well as a place to wash your hands and Wi-Fi. They provide drinks and food. There’s also a couple places to take great photos throughout the ATV tour. They did stop three times for photo options. Food was some amazing tacos, beans, cheese, guacamole and nopales. They also have a bunch of animals on site to see. And a little shop you can buy nick knacks from. You WILL need to buy the mask for the dust which is 100 pesos.

The most fun I have ever had on an excursion. The cost may seem high but having fun is well worth the price. The tequila farm is beautiful and the the restaurant there is clean with great food and service. The ATV experience must have lasted about an hour while traveling through beautiful landscapes of agave and woods and sandy oceanfront beaches. My wife has never driven an ATV before but had no problem. They teach you everything you need to know in a quick lesson. The guide is there too if you have any issues. My wife and I are over 60 years old so don't let age keep you from having a great time.

Fantastic experience filled with wonderful people, lots of different wildlife and an amazing meal topped off with a cheese tequila fondue made at your table.

That pre excursion communication was excellent. Shuttle was good but the driver did not speak at all. Could have been more hospitable and gave info about area we passed. Once at the ranch we did the ATV ride which was wonderful. Stopped at the beach and took it all in. When we returned we didn't know what to do or where to go. No one was there guiding us at all. We just assumed lunch was next and found a table. After 20 min they brought out food which was delicious and the table sude tequila cheese was outstanding. We asked about the tequila tasting and they brought us a half shot of a creamy coffee tequila that had no flavor at all. We asked about the distillery on-site and they pointed to it and said we could go look at it. All in all the ATV, guide and food was good. The area is beautiful. They could use a welcome hist to greet you upon arrival and explain the itinerary and what to expect to raise the bar on the experience.

Such a fun time! We had a group of 17 and they were able to accommodate all of us at the same time. Ride was fun, food was amazing! Animals kept our interest and pool cooled us off!

We loved our time at the ranch! The 4 wheelers were so much fun; especially riding them on the beach. The people were so friendly and the food was very good. They even felt bad that we had to wait so long for a ride back to the cruise ship that they gave our two girls a free horseback ride on the beach.

Absolutely one of our favorite moments of our trip to mazatlan! Amazing hospitality, food was delicious, scenery was incredible, and the atvs were a blast! The tequila just topped it all off! Highly recommend this tour to anyone. Literally our highlight of our week away! Thank you to Mr Lionso and his family and staff for this beautiful time and amazing food.
Teresa_S, May 2025
The tour was too short, there was not enough time riding on the beach, and the trails were littered with trash. On the plus side, the food was good and the tour guides/hosts were very nice.
Slade_M, May 2025
From start to finish everyone was very friendly, the tour was so much fun, and the lunch was great! The tequila tasting was good also :)

Super fun experience! Our guide, Juan, was amazing and a really nice guy. The ATV riding was fun and the agave ranch we visited was beautiful. The tequila was also delicious and they didn't hold back on during any/everything you wanted! Highly recommend this.

My ATV Jungle & Beach Tour was exceptional. It was A+. My driver (Fernando) to the Mr Leonos Ranch was fantastic. He arrived to pick me up from my Airbnb on time . The ATV ride in the jungle and on the beach with my guide Gustavo was memorable and enjoyable. The lunch was delicious and Armando made a tequila-cheese dish table side right in front of me and it tasted so good inside homemade tortillas. Fernando explained about the different types of tequila on the car ride to the ranch. I like the smooth Silver Tequila the most. Everyone at the Ranch were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this break from time at the beach by the tour company Domocilio Conocido and Veraneando Adventures

Best part of our cruise/trip. Communication was great easy to find our guide. ATV was great 1 hour, followed by wonderful lunch and tequila tasting. Loved riding on the beach.

It's spectacular! The people, the equipment, the scenery are all 5 star. The business has a family feel to it. Always felt very comfortable. Our driver Juan was great!

The ride to the location was great. the drive took us through old Mazatlán, which was a very humble area, but fascinating as it holds so much history. On the drive back, he took us the coastal route which was new and thriving and really beautiful. He also was awesome about sharing the history of both areas, demographics, and interesting little factoids.
The excursion itself was average. We were expecting an interactive tour that would stop at various points of interest, have our guide share the history of the farm, the different types of agave grown there and which plant is used for the different types of tequila made at the ranch. There was none of that. You got on your ATV and rode in a single file line through the dirt trails on the farm without stopping or points of interest. There were areas with tons of trash...old toilets, refrigerators, beer cans, mattresses. We were really surprised. We ended up at the beach which was beautiful and totally empty...no people as far as the eye could see so it was really lovely and very peaceful. We stopped for a water break for about 10-15 minutes and during that time, the guide never spoke to any of us. We got back on the ATV's and went back to the ranch. They have tequila tasting and do a decent job of explaining the differences in their offerings. We bought 2 bottles of tequila that were really good and very unique, so that was nice. They also have a gift shop with lots of jewelry, handbags, and souvenirs. The shop is really cute, and they have some very nice things, they're just very assertive in trying to get you to purchase something which we found to be off-putting but not the end of the world. The lunch was small and not great. We're from San Diego and have had way better Mexican food there than we did on this excursion.
We had gorgeous weather and we love being outdoors, riding ATVs, and checking out new places so from that standpoint, we truly enjoyed ourselves. The rest of it left a bit to be desired but was still a good day. So, if you're looking to go play on ATV's, don't want an actual "tour" in the traditional sense, love a great beach, this would be a fun day.

the van ride there was a bit longer than we expected but the service provided and the ATV experience was amazing. the ride was much longer than expected and well worth the time and money.

We decided to book this excursion through Viator, I was a bit apprehensive because I never booked through the them before. Well what’s life without a little danger?
I am so glad I did it! It was for the ATV tour in the jungle and beach, with lunch and tequila tasting. Which was $120/pp through Viator, the company they go by is Veraneando Adventure.
We got picked up at the cruise port, near the shops, had it for the 10:30am excursion. Pedro picked us up in a large a/c van, left around 11am. It was about 30-40min drive outside the area. The drive onto the ranch seems a little sketchy but you’ll be fine.
We met Alejandra, the owner, she was very informative and welcoming to her land. They assured us we would be returning back on time for cruise too.
We scoped out the main area, drinks were free and the tequila “samples” too.
Afterwards we head towards the ATV, there is an upsell though. It was for a dusk/face mask, but it was only $5. It was worth it.
Then Manuel, our guide, took us for a nice drive through the land, seeing the agave plants, the “jungle”, a mixed of terrain and just cruising along the beach, virtually nobody was there. I saw a turtle and crocodiles on the beach.
Afterwards we had lunch (free), shredded beef wrapped in a tortilla, tequila cheese (made in front of you), a pretzel shaped cookie. Pretty good.
They had shops there to buy random stuff and their tequila. They accept credit card!
Also don’t be a wuss, try the tequila with the rattlesnake in it!
Overall, heck yeah imma come back!
