We did this tour yesterday and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our tour guide Lahcen was brilliant and was very informative before the tour and during the tour, he couldn’t do enough for us to ensure the day was perfect. The quads and camels were amazing and the evening entertainment was fantastic. The food was delicious and even the kids enjoyed it! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Lahcel.

Communication is poor

The communication is not great, we were due to be picked up at 3pm and at 2:55pm had a message that pick up was at 4:30pm no explanation or apology as to why. The van that arrived had no a/c so not as advertised. The quad biking was good and Walid our guide took us round he was very good and made sure we enjoyed the experience as our group were late arriving as the van broke down on the way in Marrakech which was replaced. We didn’t do the camel ride as weren’t interested.

We were picked up promptly from our hotel in a lovely minibus. The visit to the Argan oil cooperative was very informative, the quad bikes and camel rides were good fun, and the food was delicious. An incredible afternoon and evening in the desert

What an amazing day we had! Collected near our Riad as this cannot be accessed by car. Zakaria, our guide, was in touch with us the day before and made sure he found us at the agreed point. We then went on a mini bus. First stop was the Argan oil cooperative. We enjoyed the tea and breeze there, but we felt there was not enough information on the actual process of getting the oil from the trees. It was a very quick tour with the opportunity to buy products in the end. The next stop was in the desert. The Agafay is a rocky desert. We started with a camel ride which was fun. The kids loved it and so did I! Lots of photos taken as well. Then we went for a little break for some tea and to use the toilet before getting on the quad bikes. My daughter and I gave that a miss - she got really panicky and though everyone was lovely with her and tried to convince her to go on, I decided that was not the best idea. My son and husband went on this for an hour and absolutely loved it! The leader of the team made sure they all.went at the pace of the slowest rider and they all had helmets. They stopped to admire the sunset. In the meantime my daughter and I admired this from the camp, which had shade, lovely seating and a pool! We did not know about this in advance, but had we known she would have loved a swim! On the quad bikea return we all went to listen to some local live music and see some dancing (with participation encouraged!) before sitting down to a lovely meal. The day ended with a fire show which was incredible! We then set off back in the mini bus. Zakaria, our guide, was excellent throughout. He made sure we were all where we were supposed to be and coordinated the whole afternoon. This was incredible value for money and I would highly recommend!
