Amazing trip unbelievable value. Nezha our guide was brilliant. We chose the 3.30pm slot which was great as we were on the Quad bikes as the sun started to set. We got picked up from our hotel at 1.45pm. Started with the camel ride for about 20 minutes the quads were about 40 minutes. We were taken straight to where you gave dinner after the quads which was a nice chicken tagine with soup and bread before and cake after. We then had a show which was music and lots of people were picked to get up and dance then the fire show. There was hardly any waiting about and it was a fantastic trip. The only thing I’d say is due to animal welfare it would be good if there were no camel rides anymore. We got back to our hotel just after 9pm.

Our guide was Nezha and she was brilliant, pickup from hotel prompt and made sure we had a great experience, we did camels & quads and both were good, you are out on quads for about 30 mins zipping through the desert at sunset! Bring a scarf or buy there it is quite dusty, meal & show were good too, all staff and workers were really efficient and friendly which made our day & night fantastic!

We had an absolutely wonderful day especially with our guide Nezha who looked after us fantastically. We stopped off on route to see how they make argan oil. Then we went into the Agafay desert to experience the camel riding which was a great experience as we’ve never done it before. We then had a turn on the quad bikes which was great. We finished off with the meal in the desert at night which was brilliant. The meal was delicious and was followed by dancing and then followed by a fire act which was very entertaining. The whole day was very entertaining. Thank you so much Nezha for a wonderful day.

The value that this tour offers for the money is unparalleled. The cons are that the communication from the tour guide before and throughout was a bit iffy but the activities offered more than made up for it. Must try!

The best way to spend an afternoon. Only 1 hour away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech we went to Agafay desert, after a short stop for tea. We did the camel ride for about 20 minutes and then the quad ride for about an hour. We had dinner (bread, soup, tanjia, cous cous and dessert). Then we danced and at the end a fire show! What an unforgettable experience!

Organization/Scheduling
The tour was booked for 5:30 PM via Viator, however the night before the tour we were contacted by the tour guide to inform us the tour would be leaving at 2 PM and we would not be picked up at our location (though the booking included a hotel pick-up). We informed the tour guide that we had previously booked and paid for another experience at the 2 PM pick-up time he was now suggesting. Now further communication was made with the tour guide until the day of the tour (maybe attempts were made on our part - including sending whatsapp messages, calling the local number which didn't work, sending a message to the tour company via Viator app, and contacting Viator directly who also was unable to reach the tour comany). Once we were able to speak to the guide there was much back and forth, until our pick-up time was moved to 4 PM and our original pick-up location.
Actual Tour
The van used for transportation had no AC so it was a long hour to our final destination. Before our final destination, we stopped at argan oil demonstration and sales shop (which would have been informative if it had been our first time, however all tour in Morocco seem to have a stop at a argan oil facility). The final stop which is where you ride the camels/ATVs and eat dinner is nice.
Final Thoughts
I guess you get what you paid for and this tour wasn't expensive. If you're ok with potential time changes and a hot van ride to the desert then booked them. If not maybe look for another company that offers the same experience with less hassle.

Simply beautiful, experience that must be done. Camel ride was just WOW, quad ride the same and the maroccan dinner was excellent, very very good. But the difference was made by our guide Hassan Ajarour: during the day always with us to help and in the evening he was part of the show!!! We had an incredible experience with the Marrakech Desert Dinner show, which included Quad Biking and Camel Riding. It is a good option for visiting the desert if you have limited time. It is a short drive from Marrakech so not the expansive desert option.
The dromedary camel ride was fun and seeing the sunset was incredible. They have a nice fire show at the end and lots of Berber style music. The food offered is the traditional chicken tagine. Plenty of food and the service is very good. No alcohol but lots of soda options for purchase- need cash.
They also take you to a woman’s cooperative so you can purchase argan products.
There are also bathrooms not portable toilets which was a nice surprise in the desert. It is a touristy excursion but well worth the time.

Had the most amazing trip last night.
Our driver was Omar, he collected us from the hotel. And took us to a roof top for Morrocan tea & bread.
We then went on a further drive to the Camel ride.
It was a beautiful experience watching the sunset over the desert.
We went up to a restaurant after the camel ride and had drinks & other bits.
It was a lovely experience and our driver stayed with us the whole time.
He was really great.

The camel ride, dinner and music and entertainment was spectacular. The sunset ride was the highlight of this excursion, Our guide Youself, was very hands on and involved making sure that we were enjoying the whole experience from start to finish. He was running around making sure that we all were comfortable and well fed plus involved with the activities. At the end of the program he made sure that all our group was together and walked us to the vehicle as there was over 200 people it was very easy to get lost. He and the driver also gave a ride to a mom and daughter that were left behind by their guide in the desert at 10pm... hats off to them for not leaving them behind in the dark all alone.

A friendgroup of six girls. This tour was amazing and we loved every second of it! 10/10! We booked online on Viator and later on we got a message on Whatsapp from our guide, Hamid, that he would pick us up at our hotel the next day. From our hotel we drove approx. 1 hour, and along the way we stopped at a local store who produced argan products, and we stopped on a small top in the desert to take photos, before we went to the camp! When we got to the camp, we went on the camel ride during sunset, and this was so beautiful! After the camel ride we were served with some traditional moroccan food and tea, and at the end enjoyed some music by the fire. The surroundings was beatiful, and we could see the stars so clearly when it got dark! Our guide then drove us back to our hotel, and we had had the best day of our whole trip to Marrakech! Everyone on the camp was so nice, the food was good and the tea as well, our guide Hamid was wonderful and very kind, and the experience was amazing! It could not have been better! Absolutely do recommend!

The driver Abdul punctual and super friendly picked us up at the hotel and there he took us back at the end of the tour which lasted a total of about 5 and a half hours (including the journey). The first stop of about 30 minutes is at a small local company that produces argan oil where they show you their products and will make you taste their honey, argan oil and argan cream. Afterwards you will be accompanied to the Agafay desert camp where you will take the camel ride (it takes about 7/8 minutes) and the quad bike ride (20-25 minutes). Also at the camp then you go to dinner and are served couscous, chicken tajine, water, tea and a piece of cake, all with background music and local artists and acrobats dancing and doing stunts. Finally, the driver will take you back to the pick-up point. Nice experience overall, the bitter bite was the fact that during the tour we learned from other visitors from other European countries that they paid a third compared to us (7 euros per person vs. 20 euros per person we paid).
