We had an amazing time on this excursion. It was so. Ice to get away from the bustle of the city. We received such a warm welcome to the farm, starting with mint tea and pastries. The cooking class was so much fun. Simple instructions and very hands on. We learned so much about the ingredients all of which were organic and from the farm. As we waited for the tajine to finish we got a tour of the farm. Lots of animals, especially horses. As well are walking among the fruit and olive trees. Lunch when ready was amazing, so flavourful! It was so nice to spend time and be welcomed by this gracious family. Would highly recommend this to anyone!

Everything about this experience was grand. Zak was great company on the 20 minute drive to and from the farm. Khaoula is gracious, a confident cook and gives expert tips in a completely laid back manner. Watch and learn! We feel we have new friends and another layer of understanding of Moroccan culture. I will never mince an onion another way. A wonderful open air lunch. Shukran, Khaoula and Zak.

We did the cooking experience with a 16 month old and a 9 year old. The location is beautiful with lemon and orange trees in the farm. Khaoula , our host was exceptional. She had set everything when we reached. My son enjoyed preparing the meal and we cooked chicken and lemon tagine, an aubergine dish, a veg tagine and a salad. She taught us how to make the different meals and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, learning a lot about Moroccan food culture. There were other farm animals also so the kids were super engaged. I would highly rate this experience as one of the best memories of Marakkech.

We loved this cooking class! We made Moroccan salad, Berber Tajine, and Chicken Tajine. Khaoula, the instructor, was fantastic! She is a very skilled chef and made us very comfortable. We would highly recommend this - it was a highlight of our trip!

Unique experience cooking tagine at a farm

We had such a great time cooking with Khaoula at the farm. One of our highlights in Marakkech. We had a very nice driver come to our hotel to pick us up and drop us off after— it made everything super convenient. Khaoula was the sweetest and had everything prepared for our arrival. We had a blast learning how to make berber & chicken tagine, and while everything was cooking, we got a tour of the farm where we saw lemon, orange, and olive trees as well as horses and a camel. The setting was beautiful, and it was nice to get out of the city for a bit. We then enjoyed our meal together, and the tagine was heavenly. Khaoula was knowledgeable, kind, and a great host. We learned a lot from her. Such a fun experience, we highly recommend! :)

We had an incredible time at the Authentic Moroccan Cooking Experience in Marrakesh! Khaoula was an amazing host and cooking chef—her warmth, expertise, and passion made the experience unforgettable. Learning to prepare traditional Moroccan dishes with her guidance was not only fun but also so rewarding. The food we made was absolutely delicious, and the serene farm setting made it even more special. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Marrakesh!

My partner and I had a truly wonderful time cooking with Khaoula at the idyllic farm beneath orange, lemon and olive trees. It was hands down one of our favourite experiences in Morocco. Khaoula was welcoming and informative, and we learned so much about making a tagine with fresh, local produce. We made both a chicken tagine and a vegetable tagine, as well as a delicious Moroccan salad. My goodness, the food was divine. This excursion is highly recommended. It felt like an oasis of calm in the middle of our bustling Marrakech holiday! Thank you, Khaoula, and to your lovely driver colleague, too. What a wonderful experience.

It was a lovely experience. We felt really welcomed by the entire family, and it was really nice to share this moment with them. The cooking class was also nice because not only we learned how to make a few dishes but also had the opportunity to talk and learn a little bit more about the family.

Deze kookworkshop vonden we erg leuk om te doen! Een leuke activiteit om even aan de drukte van Marrakesh te ontsnappen. Samen Khaoua hebben we eerst drie tajines klaargemaakt. Terwijl de drie tajines op het vuur stonden hebben we nog een rondleiding gekregen over de boerderij. Khaoua beantwoorden al onze vragen en je kon echt zien dat ze een passie heeft voor koken. De workshop is echt een aanrader en het eten was heerlijk!
