I had a really lovely evening in the desert! Our driver and guide was so friendly and helpful. Watching the sunset go down whilst on camel back was truly magical! This was followed by a delicious traditional meal and entertainment. Loved it!

Got picked up by a manic driver; same driver drove us back but seems under the influence or half asleep. He almost ran out of fuel and had to stop. Camels were good; though it wasn't 1hr long then waited two hours for dinner, asked for water and was told to wait, lots of standing around. Music was one song. everyone on our bus wanted to leave. Avoid this venue

Impossible tour

It is impossible to get to the Agafay dessert from Marrakesh before sunset if the trip does not start until 6pm. The sun had already set by the time we arrived The camels had the hump and would not allow us to safely mount them & as it was already nearly dark we would never of had an hours camel experience. We asked to go straight to dinner by the time we climbed the rainbow staircase to the camp it was pitch dark. The only desert view we saw was of a dusty road. It was a lovely camp & could have been enjoyed to the full if the pick up was at 4pm. I have requested a refund for this trip which was completely miss sold

That was your wrong the driver was waiting in front of your Riad for more than 50min and you didn't come out

An unforgettable experience

A magical experience indeed. Our driver Abdul conveniently picked us up 2 minutes away from our Riad (our Riad’s location did not allow for vehicles entering), he was on time, courteous, and a gentleman (his inability to speak good english was not a hindrance, because his caring nature shone through). We drove around 40 minutes from Marrakech; no complaints about the driving. The drive was very safe. Upon arrival, we were given traditional berber clothes to wear for our camel ride. You could tell they were freshly washed, as you could still smell the laundry detergent on both the dress and the headscarf. The camels were well behaved - you can tell they have a good relationship with their keeper, as they listened and obeyed every command he gave. The camel ride was amazing. They took us through the desert, making sure we witnessed all its best spots. Our guide also made sure photographs were taken with the best backgrounds - his photography skills also did not disappoint! After our sunset camel ride, we were taken to our very own tent, with a view of the desert and the Atlas Mountains. They also set up a bonfire to keep us warm, as it was getting colder with the sun setting. Soon after, we were served delicious food; a good number of starters, followed by a delicious Tagine. Once we were finished with food, we had the freedom to sit outside by our bonfire, and stargaze. All in all it was an amazing experience.
