Terrible experience

debbietrush, Mar 2024
Never got picked up until nearly an hour after the time. Had to keep ringing. Nothing like what I as stated and the reviews. Picked up by taxi no air conditioning. Met by the man of the house not introduced to any family member. Presumably his wife came through and he said to peel veg. That was it. Sat up on roof top along with a load of other tourist who had come for dinner. Probably a total of 30 people. No experience of meeting the family or any cooking of the dinner well apart from veg 😢 I do believe this was totally messed up and we probably was not at the house that we were meant to be at . So disappointed.

Have a great experience with a wonderful family in the Atlas Mountains

My friend and I had a fantastic day out. Such a lovely family. We were picked up from our hotel by Jamal and taken to his grandmother's home, where she taught us how to make the most delicious chicken tagine. The village was pretty with almond blossom, built on the hillside. Relaxing afterwards on the roof top of their home drinking freshly made mint tea. It was so lovely to see the children from the age of 3 help clear up :) Thank you so much for a great day. Next time we come, we'll do the walk to the waterfall

Amazing experience!!

This cooking class was the highlight of our stay in Morocco! My boyfriend and I took this cooking class and we strongly recommend it. Ibrahim is an amazing guide and a great person. He is extremely helpful and provides you with the most authentic experience you can find. You start off by taking a bus ride through the Atlas mountains, the drive takes about 1,5 hours but you see some amazing scenery along the way. After that, Ibrahim picked us up and walked us through the village where he lives. Once we arrived at his really cosy house, we cooked bread, tagine and couscous with a breathtaking view of the Atlas mountains. We also learned how to make tea from scratch the moroccan way. The most amazing thing about the experience is that you feel like you are one of the locals. When we arrived at Ibrahim’s, his whole family was there, the children watched us cook and his mother also helped Ibrahim teach us. If you are looking for a local, authentic experience then this will 100% make your stay more pleasant. We are definitely going to meet up with Ibrahim again next time we visit Morocco.
