Rudolpho is an exceptional guide who clearly loves his city. He is very knowledgeable about the history and current place of Manaus in Brazil and the wider world context. He was prompt, his car is new and comfortable, and he tailored the tour to our interests. He also suggested further exploration on our own near our hotel and we really enjoyed that as well. If you are cruising the Amazon and Manaus is your embarkation or debarkation city please add a day or 2 to your trip to explore this vibrant place with warm people. If you want a familiar English speaker for your departure he also does airport transfers. Highly recommend!

This ended up being a private tour for us, in a very comfortable Chev SUV with A/C. The guide and driver ensured we saw everything on the itinerary, including Manaus Opera House, old City Hall and Library, Market, etc. The guide's english was exceptional. He answered all of our questions, and ensured that we returned on schedule.

Beautiful Hike

The weather was hot but the hike was worth it. We saw many waterfalls and a large cave. Our guide, Henry, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the park and the sights within the park. The picnic lunch was good and healthy. Bring your bathing suit as there are quite a few areas to take a quick dip near waterfalls.

The opera house and palace were very interesting and our guide Diogo was easy to understand. He translated everything we asked and was great to get along with. Super easy going and helpful. The driver Hising was super courteous and helpful and gave Diogo information to pass on to us. The marketplace was intriguing with its combination of tourist items for sale and goods for local people. It’s history and architecture were well explained and very interesting.

Our guide and driver really were wonderful. The guide spoke very good English and our driver was very good and cautious. We got a great overview of Manaus including a personal tour of the Opera house. Beyond their control, our tour ended in a huge downpour of rain, but they drove us back right along side our ship, which was a perfect ending. Thank you!

Disappointment on tour

We booked a 4-hour tour, with tickets to the theatre and the museum of the Amazon. The tour ended in less than 2 and a half hours and the guide said it would not take us to the museum because this was not planned on the tour. Anyway, we paid far more than we were provided!
