The experiences were nice, we wish the staff, guides were better in English. They were very nice but the lack of communication was an issue. Fortunately for my partner and me, i have been in Adventure tourism for 38 years and understand accents and guess what they were trying to say. I had to explain to the other clients what was being said sometimes. However, the Amazon is an amazing place.

So much fun! The guides are great and very knowledgeable about the area of the Amazon we were in. There’s a great common area to chat and get to know others on the tour. We did the 2 night 3 day tour and it felt like the perfect amount of time.

The team and guides were very friendly and knowledgeable all focussed on ensuring you get as full an experience that they can provide. We were lucky enough to see Aligator, Monkeys and catch Piranha. Accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. Plenty of downtime so take a good book to read whilst relaxing in your hammock and bring swim gear as plenty opportunities to swim in the Amazon

This tour is both fun and very close to a rip-off.
The additional paid activities, such as swimming with dolphins, are exceptional, but if you don't take them there's hardly anything to do.
We took 3 days/2 nights, and on the third day we simply spent 5 hours in a boat accompanying other tourists doing the activities we'd already done, staying on the boat until they'd finished.
It's a pretty nice tour if you only do 1 night and take the additional activities, but without them it's pretty much pointless.
Clearly, the tour isn't worth the price, and you're left with a feeling of having been nicely ripped off.
Still not a bad experience though, the lodge, the staff and the food were okay, and we met nice people.

I am sorry to write this complaining letter as we have unexpected horrible experience for this 3 day tour. First we were told that we can not carry our luggage with us because the river water level is low. But we noticed the driver only have small truck with full of goods or supplies, leave no room for our luggage. We were asked to pack a much smaller bag with each of us or he will leave. With very limited time we have to pickup items we imagined that is necessary. The result is we had carried less usable items but leave most needed things as a person over 60s. Plus, we have to pay extra hotel stay to keep our luggage. We are upset not only because of the size of bags, but also the lack of information or instruction of the package. My email telephone and Vitor app all free to open but we didn’t get any words until last minute of pickup. This totally destroyed our feelings for this tour and did not enjoy what we paid for.
The organizer totally ignored the needs of people over 60s like us and provided no help or support. We have to walk long way hardly to catch the boat.
I hope people should consider their decisions tad many times as they can to accept this company’s services to avoid losses in terms of financial and mental especially bad feelings in your life only once time events which is not compensated.

Due to the dry conditions, the company offered to let us go to a different camp (Anaconda) and we accepted. We did everything on our itinerary and were very happy with our guide. Met some great folks from France, South Africa and England.

The activities we did on this tour were great and we got a real taste of the Amazon rainforest and river but I was expecting more with the accommodations and food for the amount we were charged. The toilet in our room wasn't working well, A/C would only turn on during the night, the canoes we traveled in were tiny and gave me back pain to sit in, and the food was very subpar with not a lot of options for vegetarians, like myself. I understand and appreciate if they were trying to give us an authentic Amazonian experience (minimalistic living) but I would have liked it if they mentioned that more clearly up front so we could make a more informative decision taking the price into consideration.

Well organized thee days two nights tour feasible fo 50+ possible collection firm airport both ways Eduardo speaks reasonable English love similar to caning houses in Europ air conditioning in a room the tour took place as prescribed you might add up dolphins and indigenous people ceremonia presentation both events conditioning its price Staff nice and supportive excellent lunch moderate breakfast and supper - for me excellent experience

We had three days in the Amazon, and it was the highlight of our vacation!
The program we expected was to go piranha fishing, visit a village, and go on a jungle trek. However the program we got was so much more than that. There was never a shortage of stuff to do, and our group was constantly being taken out into the jungle for 'authentic' experiences. Here's what to expect, the activites you get to do depend on how long you're staying (2-7 days)

Observation of dolphins, birds, monkeys, sloths, jaguars, snakes, spiders, rodents
Swimming with pink river dolphin
Caiman spotting
Fishing for Amazon catfish, Piranha, Peacock bass, Traira and other
Sunrise tour with bird watching
Observation of huge trees and giant water lilies
Introduction in survival techniques in the jungle and overnight in the jungle
Visiting native family with manioc farm and tropical fruit trees
Visit of meeting of the waters
Overnight in the jungle
If I had to pick something for improvement, it'd be that the accommodations are small and hot, and water for the shower runs out often. Also the food --while good-- was the same every lunch and dinner.
If I had to recommend an activity it'd be overnight in the jungle. It is amazing, the food and drinks are fantastic and the hiking through the jungle at night is unforgettable. But bring earplugs, because you're never heard snoring quite like a group of campers in hammocks.
The other activity I'd recommend not missing is the piranha fishing. Not so much for the fishing part, but we were able to swim in the river and watch the sunset. We literally were pulling fish out of the water one minute, and swimming with them the next. As they will tell you, piranhas pose zero threat to swimmers.

We booked the tour for 2 nights, 3 days and it was a really nice experience! The tour guide was really enthusiastic and did his best to give us a lot of information about the jungle (life). Nice people, good food. Everything was well organised.

Positives:
I enjoyed the lodge and food. Great scenery when on the boat both day and night, and hiking. I liked the alligator hunting and piranha fishing also. Good tour guides.
Negatives:
The biggest dissappointment was how the tour description made it seem that we would meet one of the tribes. However, that is not the case. We just went to a farm and was lectured about the tribal people that reside in the jungle for about 15 minutes, then returned back to the lodge. There are other tours where you get to see actual tribal rituals, songs, etc. Also, some of us werent kept in the loop as to what time we were beginning certain activities, until the last minute. Also, it would have been nice to more than pineapple, bread, and butter for breakfast on the third day when camping.

True Amazon jungle experience in short period of time!
Too bad tha extreme drought condition made lakes and rivers dry and had to walk a lot in hot weather.

Long journey to reach lodge took about 5 hours the experience ration should be set upfront especially in the non-AC run down van which is hard. Experience was god though a jungle adventure. Lodge is very basic, AC doesn’t work. Team at lodge were lovely and god was fresh and delicious. The mosquitoes were insane got bitten alive.
I guess it was the full Amazon experience.

It is the trip of a lifetime. The lodge is nestled in the middle of the jungle. I'm a handicap person (an amputee), but still was able to enjoy the hike in the jungle and the canoe rides. Everybody there treats you like family.

The Amazon is amazing, but you need a guide that speaks your language, so you really understand what you are seeing / doing. We were unlucky in this regard. Also, the lodge was okay, but the food very monotonous. The destination is a can't-miss though, but carefully choose the tour and lodge to fit to your expectations!

I think this experience was missing a trick. It wouldn’t take much to improve the facilities, catering and guided tours to make it an outstanding few days. The accommodation was grimy. Showers only cold, and I really think if you are asking guests to put used toilet paper in a bin, said bin should be emptied at least once a day. There was no variety in the food, lunch was the same as dinner, Monday was same as Tuesday. The guided tours, I would have graded good on the whole, but the trip to indigenous village was a flop as they had all been parting and couldn’t perform their welcome ritual.

It is a beautiful experience, worth a try, especially for nature lovers.
There are some shortcomings, such as lack of wifi, but this is normal for jungle conditions.
There are beautiful views, and the most interesting was the alligator hunt. Our guide also grabbed one, which I held in my hand.
Piranha fishing is not who knows what, and jungle hiking is rather weak.
I did not have towels in the room and had the same dish every 3 days.
Too much free time, when you have nothing to do. Each day you go in the morning 2-3 hours, and in the afternoon at del. Otherwise you stay home and you have nothing to do.

Great trip with activities in the morning and afternoon. Meals were fantastic and the rooms were nice. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, and light long skin clothes for the nature walk (my favorite part).

Only one tip - DON’T LEAVE ANY CASH IN YOUR ROOM! Getting cash stolen was the only bummer during my stay! Otherwise, it could be one of the best experience I’ve ever had. Even though encountering such annoying and disgraceful incident, I still believe most of the locals are kind and genuine!

Fabio is a fabulous guide with so much knowledge of the area. He doesn't need a map to tell him where to take people. He is extremely helpful. The food at the lodge is simple but good and plentiful. The cabins are comfortable but you're not going to spend a lot of time there.

Pros: ALL the activities on this tour were amazing. Our guide, Fabio, was incredibly committed to sharing his knowledge with us. He was the best and we'd do this tour again in a minute. Also, the transportation from our cruise ship was superb. Our driver met us at the ship precisely on time and we were extremely comfortable with the 2-hour trip out to the lodge.
Cons: Be aware that both the lodge and the food will be very basic. The lodging is more like a student hostel. Our room had one queen bed and two twins pushed together. The mattresses were old as were the sheets. No toiletries were provided, although when we requested soap we were delighted to receive a small wrapped bar. Also, the food is very simple. Scrambled eggs and an hamburger bun for breakfast. Lunch and dinner during our two nights there were surprisingly similar. On both days, we were offered rice and spaghetti along with a protein for both lunch and dinner. Also, know that if you book three nights one of them will be offered as a sleep out in a hammock in the jungle. Based on others who were on the tour who took part in that excursion, we'd suggest you think about staying in the lodge instead. People did not sleep well in the hammocks.

The activities were amazing! I even stayed one extra night to sleep in the jungle. I had the most amazing time there. However, the lodge was filthy!!!!! Everyone was complaining. There was one couple who decided to leave early because they couldnt deal with it. Honestly most of people probably wouldn't mind the simplicity of the lodge but the cleanliness was really horrifying! Most of us couldn't even shower in our own room because of how dirty it was. We all just used the out door shower by the pool. In the end, it was still an amazing experience. If you like adventures and don't care too much about accommodations, this tour would be perfect for you!

This is a great taster of the Amazon....I was able to spend a night camping in the Jungle which was fascinating with my guide Fabia. There are side trips you can pay extra for like swimming with Dolphins but they are good experiences. The food and lodgings are comfortable and taste good. Catching fish and hunting the cayman was enjoyable too. Treking through the jungle is interesting and there is a good swimming pool at the lodge to relax. All good...

I never imagined a tour in the Amazon could be this amazing. I felt like I was in paradise. They also give you the option to switch things around or add extra activities while there and for me there was a price differencr and they let me pay at the end, if they hadn't I wouldn't have been able to do some things. Definitely worth every penny.
