My sister and I had a wonderful time! The tour guide and other staff were simply amazing! the places we visited were so wonderful! The Pink Boto was the greatest experience. Tour guide super friendly and knowledgeable. Simply perfect!

Wow wonderful relaxing day on the Amazon River! It is so huge! Did not expect the water to be so warm. Was so wonderful swimming with the dolphins! And the meeting of the water spectacular. Love the private tour option. Only recombination would be for the tour guide to explain what was locally made at the craft market and from what. Didn’t buy anything because don’t want things from China. Also guide should explain the food at the buffet as didn’t know what anything was?

This is an excellent tour that provides you an opportunity to see many key sights outside of Manaus. We were picked up on time and taken to our speed boat for our tour. We swam with the pink dolphins, had and excellent visit to a native village, lunch at a floating village, saw the large Lilly pads and the meeting of the waters. Our tour guide was very informative and spoke good English. If you are only in Manaus for a day this tour provides all the highlights.

Daniel our guide was outstanding!!!!! Very informative! Swimming with the pink dolphins were a once in a lifetime experience! The tribe visited was very enjoyable! Feeding the fish exciting! So much more information and other adventures packed into this tour! Meeting of the waters, lunch at a floating restaurant, the bridge, etc, on and on. Take this tour!!!! AAAAAAA+++++++

Trip started out badly as driver was over an hour late and we had to kerp trying to get updates. After that things moved smoothly.
Great full day on the river. Highlight qas swimming with pink.dolphins in the wild. Bucket list! Another special thing was going to a fish farm where we got to fish for the contained monster fish, pirarucu. In the wild they weigh 400-600 lbs and are 3 meters long. When they grabbed your fish, it would take all your strength to hold on to your pole. Village visit qas delightful. Meeting of the Waters is more visible from our ship, since high up. We could see Ama#on, dirty brown, running side by side with the very dark Negro- not mixing.

Swam with pink dolphins, met with native tribes, saw floating village, fed giant eel-type fish, put hand in the meeting of the waters ! It was amazing and they really took great care of us, best tour I did in the Amazon !

We were very disappointed with the boat conditions and the guide. We were suppose to have a max of 10 people but we had 12 and not enough seats to sit on. The boat did not protect enough from the rain. To make things worse, the tour was supposed to to be English. It he spoke Portuguese more to the Portuguese guests and very little English even though there were more English speaking guests.
The tour started late and then at the half way they added 3 more people when we did not have enough seats to begin with.

It was a very enjoyable day on the Amazon River. We played with the pink dolphins and saw the meeting of the waters! Awesome! Our guide Denis Ferreira was spectacular, his English was almost perfect and his knowledge of the area was extensive! Our boat driver “the General” did a great job of managing the waves and the river traffic. Overall we would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide and captain were GREAT! We had some rough waters and our captain was very skilled and I felt very safe. The guide took lots of pictures and forwarded them to us. Everyone was kind and we got to experience so many beautiful and interesting things. Great for kids!

I'm not someone who writes reviews often, but I felt the responsibility to share this one to help others the way I’ve benefited from other reviews. So here it is: If you want a private boat trip, this option is good for you. However, if you don’t mind sharing a boat with a couple of additional people and want to save $67.44 while getting the same experience, I recommend booking the Amazon Safari from Manaus instead. Aside from the boat trip being private, all other activities are shared with other visitors. I did both this tour and the Amazon jungle tour with this company, and while I was happy with the jungle group tour, I felt the river day tour was not worth paying triple the price of the Amazon Safari for the same activities. I spoke to someone the next day during the jungle visit who did the safari, and that’s how I found out it’s exactly the same. I had asked Milton about the differences before the tour, and he mentioned the only difference was the quietness, but it was too late for me to cancel. The guides are good, but if you’re unsure about which River Day Tour to choose from Manaus, I’d suggest going for the Amazon Safari and saving your $67. Uber is easy and cheap to get to the meeting point.

You're absolutely right!
For the clients who are traveling on a budget and don't mind sharing the tour with around 90 people on a big boat it will be much cheaper.
Also one must notice that the large groups don't visit the same indigenous tribe and the same dolphins platform we do because of the distance which increases the use of fuel, also interaction with dolphins and pirarucu fishing, as well as drinks at lunch time are not included in their tour (this way they can keep a budget price).
But thanks for sharing this information (even though I believe the price of every tour is clear online and we're not known for cheap tours).

We had such a great time! Pick-up was on time at our hotel and we were taken directly to our boat. Our guide Dennis was AMAZING! So very knowledgeable and kind. Swimming with the pink dolphins, the floating community, lunch, and the meeting of the rivers were my favorite parts. The only downside was going back to the original point to pick up other people that seemed to have the half day tour. It took time away from how smoothly our tour was going. I will still highly recommend and return myself.

Absolutely unforgettable experience! Everything we did on this tour was perfectly crafted and enjoyable— for me, my 82 year old grandparents, as well as the teenagers that were with us. I cannot recommend this tour, tour company, and tour guide (Denis!!!) enough. I will never forget all of the special things we got to see and do in the Amazon!! (pair this tour with the “Whole Day in the Jungle” tour!!!!)

Loved swimming with the dolphins and visiting an indigenous tribe. Arturo our guide was excellent! The only down side was the boat ride. Seats were so uncomfortable for such a long boat ride. Other that it was well the price.

Trip was very inclusive. Guide was informative. Boat ride very long to include all we did. Indian village very good. I would suggest a boat with forward facing seats. Side bench seats a little much for this long trip. Good value.

We had the most fabulous day yesterday on this tour. We’d previously done a 4 day Amazon tour with another company and we did so much more on the River trip in just 1 day. It was amazing value for money. We didn’t think it could get better than the pink dolphins but then the Indigenous tribe visit was phenomenal. We were the only people there and they were so friendly and welcoming. We got to see them perform a ritual/ dance with music and we even joined in. Lunch was also absolutely delicious. Denis, our guide, was brilliant. He spoke perfect English and worked so hard to make our day special. He is a very hard working, caring and intelligent young man. Thank you for a wonderful day. Highly recommend!

Pick-up, boat travel, activities and lunch, and drop back were very efficient. Our guide, also was speedboat pilot, Lucivaldo, was very patient, knowledgeable, amenable, informative and a really nice guy to travel with. Milton the boss of the tour firm was prompt in reply to all enquiries. The dolphin and tribal community activities were delightful, a very nice lunch, and interesting jungle boardwalk.

La pluie du matin n'a pas réussi à gâcher la fête. Dommage que nous n'avons pas eut cette excursion en français, mais ce fut une bonne journée. On aurait aimé que le nombre de 10 personnes soit respecté
