Jalapão State Park is one of Brazil's most remote ecotourism destinations—a 158,000-hectare expanse of red sand dunes, natural spring pools, waterfalls, and savanna landscapes in the interior of Tocantins state. On this 3-day private tour from Palmas, stop at the Fervedouro do Buriti spring pool, the Jalapão dunes, and Cachoeira da Formiga waterfall, with transport and full-board accommodation included.

Jalapão's natural attractions—dunes, freshwater spring pools, and canyons—gets plenty of attention, but the region's cultural anchor is the Quilombo Mumbuca community, where capim dourado (golden grass) handicrafts have been practiced for generations. This 3-day tour pairs scenic landscape sites with a community visit—with all accommodation and transport handled in advance for you.
