Absolutely brilliant day trip. I was wary booking a trip with a company I'd previously never heard about but the amazing reviews sold it to me. They certainly were not lying!!!
Picked up from hotel close to our own on time and welcomed aboard by Enrico our tour guide for the day. He was amazing. Funny and so knowledgeable about everything not just the places we visited. Engaged with all guests and remembered names and details.
Visited the Dragon tree, beautiful town and breathtaking views at Masca begore venturing on the mountain roads to Teide National Park- beautiful. Luis our coach driver was fantastic- funny, engaging and incredibly skillful on some of the most brutal roads I've ever been on (an amazing part of the trip) All the while with commentary and hilarious antics with Enrico. Such fun.
Final stop at the restaurant where you are encouraged to dine but we went to the cafe underneath which was very reasonably priced.
All in all the best day out. My children are 12 and 18 and loved every minute. As did we.
Couldnt recommend this tour more. Worth every penny. Thank you so much to our guide and driver.

Be wary of pickup points. We had to make a mad dash because the details in the app were not correct. The app said we would be collected at our hotel but the bus didn’t come. Eventually I contacted a local number & the bus did not have our hotel listed as a stop. The stop was about 500m away. Thankfully the guide waited for us!

The reason for the 3 stars is our guide Maria who was fantastic, otherwise would have given a 2 star to this trip.
The bus was very poorly maintained -the windows were not clean and hence not ideal for photos; the bus was stuffy and some of the air conditioning vents were not working. The brakes made alarming squealing noise every time they were being used and it was not reassuring in steep mountain roads.
The driver drove very fast on winding mountain roads and many were feeling sick (one of the guests started vomiting, and had to be brought forward and Maria kindly gave up her seat for this guest).
The total length of the trip was 8 hours - actual time spent at the spots were 30mins at Roque de Garcia, 1.5hr at Icod de los Vinos where some time was spent at a souvenir shop and rest for lunch which was substandard. There is not much to see here anyway other than the tree. Some guests returned late from lunch, so our next stop at Garachico was cut short to 5mins. Next stop was at Masca Valley which can be accessed through winding narrow mountain roads and was actually very nice place and spent 30mins there before returning back to base. This felt like a rushed tick-box exercise and Maria mentioned at the beginning that this was three trips squashed into one! So in my opinion, the itinerary does not do justice to any of the places visited. The best place to visit is the Teide national park and having done a cable-car trip the day before, we realised what the tourists missed by just seeing the Rocque de Garcia.
There was a toilet break at Villaflor where almost five buses stopped and there were only two toilets each for gents and ladies, which was absolutely not right with long queues outside the toilets - if that is the preferred stop by all tour companies then need to have the right infrastructure to support that especially when tourists are charged 1 euro for the toilet.

Pick up point (Sol Arona) was quite chaotic with lots of tour busses turning up. Also, bus was 1 hour late. But guide was fun, helpful & enjoyed the trip)

I would highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a day out. The tour guide Fernando was very knowledgeable and pleasant and the driver navigated the narrow and windy roads like a pro! I was worried it was going to be rushed at the stops but I felt there was just enough time at each stop especially as it was very cold in these mountainous areas. Unlike many tours I’ve been on there were no unnecessary tourist trap stops and the tour delivered exactly what it said on the tin.

We booked this trip to be able to see some of the sights in a convenient way. We truly cannot recommend this trip enough. Both our Tour guide Rosa and the bus driver Kiko made the trip even more memorable. And even the trip to Masca alone for us was so worth it. The trip down to Masca is very stressful, but Kiko did an amazing job navigating narrow corners and upcoming vehicles while being on a bus. Truly nervewrecking in itself and I genuinely recommend the whole package.

Wonderful tour, fantastic driver Bernardo, and excellent guide, who spoke English, Hungarian and German. The guide gave us just perfect amount of information, and everything I was wondering about got covered on this tour. He had really good sense of humour and was very knowledgable. The pick-up was punctual, and nice clean bus with airconditioning and safety belts. So worth every penny! Just loved the experience!

this tour overall was great. but the meeting time said 8am at our chosen spot. at 8:35am we received a text that our pick up spot was being changed, the bus didn’t come till 8:50am. we were waiting hopelessly. other than that maria our tour guide was great and it is a great day trip to see the whole island.

I would not recommend booking with this company.
I reserved a four-stop tour, as reviews indicated that the longer tour with additional stops did not provide sufficient time at each location. Despite booking only the day before, when the bus arrived—15 minutes late—the guide informed us that we had been placed on a different bus due to availability issues. I assumed this was the same tour we had booked, but it quickly became apparent that it was not.
At the first stop, I noticed discrepancies, as our itinerary was not supposed to include Vilaflor. At the following stop, it became clear that we were on the wrong tour: we were given only 10–25 minutes at Teide National Park instead of the scheduled one hour, and the same issue occurred in Garachico.
As a result, we were unable to properly explore, swim in the natural pools, or enjoy the locations as planned. I contacted the company regarding this issue but have not received any response.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed. The tour we specifically booked was not the tour we received, and we did not have the time we expected at the destinations we had chosen.

First of all, we would like to clarify that, due to high demand and daily operations, there may be several buses operating the same excursion. For organizational reasons, such as the language of each bus, some participants may be reassigned from one vehicle to another before the start of the tour. Nevertheless, it is always the same company, the same tour booked, and the same standards of quality and service.
Regarding the stops and timing, all our excursions follow a pre-established program. The stop in Vilaflor is part of some itineraries and has both a practical and cultural purpose, as it is the highest village in Spain and allows for a break before continuing on to Teide National Park. As for the time spent in the National Park and in Garachico, this may vary slightly depending on the day’s conditions, traffic, and the overall punctuality of the group, but it always complies with the format of the excursion booked.
It is important to note that swimming in the natural pools of Garachico is neither included nor guaranteed in the itinerary, as the stop is intended for visiting the historic town center and viewing the natural pools, not for swimming.
Our excursions are designed to showcase several iconic locations in Tenerife in a single day, which requires adhering to a schedule. For those who wish to spend more time in a specific location, such as Teide National Park, we also offer dedicated excursions focused exclusively on that area.

The trip got off to a very bad start.
We received a message early in the morning saying the bus was delayed, followed by another message informing us that we would not be picked up at our hotel, even though this was clearly stated both in the booking and on our ticket. I tried calling the operator for clarification, but they never answered. It later turned out that we were expected at a completely different pickup point, which we had never been told about. We ended up rescheduling the trip, but the situation was stressful and forced us to reorganize our day last-minute.
The Trip Itself:
1. First Stop: Villaflores
A very strange choice for a stop. There was almost nothing to see. No viewpoints, just an old water supply with an information sign. The café there felt like a typical tourist trap, and they even charge €1 to use the bathroom.
2. Second Stop: Teide
This was incredibly rushed. We had only 30 minutes, which made no sense because there is so much to see and many beautiful paths to explore. It was stressful, and I would much rather have skipped Villaflores entirely to spend the extra time at Teide.
3. Third Stop: Dragon Tree
We had 1.5 hours here, including lunchtime. The group was taken to a prearranged restaurant with a set menu, but thankfully the guide didn’t pressure anyone to join, and the town had several alternatives.
We brought our own lunch because we’ve experienced other tours where you’re taken to remote restaurants with no other options.
This stop turned out great, since we visited the botanical garden (€5), which was lovely, peaceful, and perfect for lunch. Highly recommended! There is also Casa Del Drago restaurant that looked amazing, I'd love to come back to that.
4. Fourth Stop: Garachico Pools
This was the biggest disappointment. The tour description promised one hour at the natural pools, and we even brought bathing suits. Instead, we were forced to walk slowly behind the guide like a herd of sheep, and the entire stop lasted only 30 minutes - just enough time to take photos before getting back on the bus.
We weren’t allowed any time to swim, even though we could easily have taken a quick dip and rejoined the group. A major letdown.
5. Last Stop: Masca
A beautiful little village in the mountains. We had 45 minutes here, which was more than enough and actually quite enjoyable.
Summary
Positives:
- The guide was knowledgeable and interesting
- The driver, Pedro, was incredible. Skilled, calm, and very safe in mountain roads
- You get to see a lot in one day
- Freedom to choose your own lunch option
Negatives:
- The guide was inflexible at key moments
- Far too little time at Teide, which is he highlight of the trip
- Promised time at the Garachico pools was cut in half
- Not allowed even a quick dip in the pools
- Long hours on the bus
- Hotel pickup was not honored, despite being clearly stated on the ticket, no compensation was offered for the organiser mess up
Overall, this tour had potential, but poor organization, broken promises, and rushed stops made it an overall disappointing experience.

As for the stop in Vilaflor, this is a necessary stop with both practical and cultural value. Vilaflor is the highest village in Spain and an emblematic place in Tenerife. It also allows guests to use the bathroom and have a coffee before continuing to Teide National Park, as the following journey is long and services in the park are limited. This stop adds an additional cultural component to the excursion.
Regarding the visit to Garachico, bathing in the natural pools is not included nor mentioned in the itinerary at any point. Incredible landscapes. All in all a very good tour. The guide's English was very hard to understand but the driver was brilliant on all the hairpin bends. Not for the faint hearted. A good pace and a great lunch stop.

We would like to express a special thank you to our tour guide Edurne and our driver Rayco. Edurne led the tour excellently and provided information in Spanish, English, German, and French. Everything was understandable, interesting, and very professionally organized.
A big compliment also goes to the driver Rayco. The roads in Tenerife are partly very winding and challenging. Nevertheless, he drove the bus safely, calmly, and professionally at all times. Thanks to his experience, we felt safe and well taken care of throughout the entire journey.
In just one day, we were able to see many beautiful places and gather numerous impressions. Of course, one could spend significantly more time at each location, but then the tour would take much longer. The program was very well organized for a day trip and offered the opportunity to gain a comprehensive impression of the island.
During the lunch break, a menu was offered for 20 euros, including drinks. We followed our guide's recommendation and were satisfied. There were both fish and meat dishes available. Those who wish can certainly choose another restaurant. Therefore, we do not find criticism of this offer justified.
We have not regretted our decision to take this tour for a single second. Those who want to spend more time at individual locations should perhaps book private excursions or rent a car. This way, one can determine the route and duration of stay themselves.
We could see Teide from a distance, which was completely sufficient for us. On a future visit, we would like to explore this part of the island separately.
