Overall this was an amazing tour being able to see different parts of Mallorca which I would not have seen had we missed this experience. The bus ride to monestary was a bit long and the tour guide had to say everything in 4 different languages which was a lot to listen to however the visits to the other towns and experiencing the boat ride and vintage train were breath taking. Would have loved a bit more time to explore Soller. I would recommend this tour overall if you are staying in Mallorca for an extended time.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you so much, Janice! 🌴🚆🚤 We’re delighted you had such a great day on our Mallorca in One Day tour and that you enjoyed discovering parts of the island you might not have seen otherwise.
It’s true that the journey to Lluc takes some time, but it allows you to experience the stunning Tramuntana mountains safely and comfortably. Also, with an international group, guides provide explanations in several languages so everyone can enjoy the experience — we understand it can feel like a lot, but it ensures no one misses out 😊
We really appreciate your comment about wanting more time in Sóller — it’s a charming place! With such a complete itinerary, we always aim to balance time and variety to show as much as possible in one day.
At Nofrills Excursions, with over 20 years of experience, we’re proud to offer one of the most complete and well-organised tours in Mallorca. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to see you again soon! 🌞✨

Cindy_B, Apr 2026
Our guide was lovely, but over-extended. What was described as an "English language tour" was Spanish, German and English. That meant that there was little time for our guide to explain anything we were seeing. By the time she made announcements in 3 languages about timing and ticketing for our next stop, there was no time for her to tell us anything else. Things were also very rushed and chaotic. There is so much to see and do along this tour. If I had it to do over again, I would split it in 2, spending a leisuday in the mountains and another day in Port Stoller/Stoller.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Dear Cindy,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the guide lovely, but we need to clarify a few important points.
This tour is clearly described as a multilingual tour, not an exclusive English-only tour. Mallorca welcomes visitors from all over the world, and our guides adapt to ensure everyone receives the necessary information. When possible, we do single-language tours, but this is not always feasible.
Regarding timing, the itinerary was followed exactly as advertised:
Lluc Monastery: ~45 minutes
Sa Calobra: ~90 minutes
Sóller: ~30 minutes
These times are carefully planned to fit a full day that includes bus, boat, tram and train, all running on fixed schedules. For example, if the train departs at a specific time, it cannot be delayed — this is why timing is important and explained by the guide during the tour.
This is a full-day sightseeing tour designed to show a large part of Mallorca in one day. If you prefer more time in each location, the best option is indeed to explore independently over multiple days, as you mentioned.
At Nofrills Excursions, with over 20 years of experience, we deliver exactly what is described: a well-organised, varied, and efficient way to discover the island. It’s important that expectations match the type of tour booked.

Lief_G, Apr 2026
The tour was well organized and managed. That said, you spend a lot of time on a bus and train. A couple of the stops felt a little rushed. Overall, the tour was pretty much as described.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you so much for your honest and balanced review! 🌴🚆🚤 We’re glad you found our Mallorca in One Day tour well organised and true to its description — that’s exactly what we aim for at Nofrills Excursions.
It’s true that this is a full-day sightseeing experience, designed to cover a large part of the island in one day, which means combining different transport methods like bus, boat, tram and train. This allows guests to see places that would otherwise be very difficult to reach without a car.
We also appreciate your comment about some stops feeling a bit rushed — with such a complete itinerary, we always try to find the best balance between time at each location and showing as much of Mallorca as possible.
With over 20 years of experience, we’re proud to offer one of the most popular and varied tours on the island. We hope to welcome you again for another Mallorca adventure, maybe a more relaxed half-day option next time! 🌞✨

Claudia_H, Mar 2026
This experience is quite enjoyable and varied. It gives you a look at Mallorca that you would. It see in the larger cities here. Both the train ride and the tram passed through scenic mountains and landscapes. The boat ride was great . It took us to a tiny coastal village and from there a twisty and beautiful mountain bus ride back.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you so much for your lovely review! 🌴🚆🚤 We’re delighted you enjoyed our Mallorca in One Day sightseeing tour. It’s a fantastic way to discover a different side of the island beyond the main cities — with stunning mountain scenery, charming villages, and a perfect combination of train, tram, boat, and coach.
We’re glad you appreciated the variety of the experience and the beautiful landscapes along the way — especially that unique route through the Tramuntana mountains and the coastal stop at Sa Calobra.
At Nofrills Excursions, with over 20 years of experience in Mallorca, we take pride in offering well-organised tours that showcase the island’s true beauty in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
We hope to welcome you again soon for another unforgettable Mallorca adventure! 🌞✨
James_D, Mar 2026
Absolute shambles, waited for a coach that didn’t identify itself amongst other coaches and told us nothing, until we enquired where the bus was, as we had waited in the place arranged for over an hour, absolute shambles never again.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Dear James,
We’re sorry to read your comment, but we must clarify the situation clearly. On that same departure, 24 other clients boarded the correct coach without any issue, using the exact same meeting point and instructions you received.
Our buses are identified as explained in the booking information, and our team is always present to assist. If all other guests managed to locate and board the coach, it strongly indicates that the problem was not with the organisation of the tour.
At Nofrills Excursions, with over 20 years of experience in Mallorca, we run these tours daily with clear instructions and smooth operations. It’s unfair to describe the service as a “shambles” when it was correctly delivered and attended by the rest of the group.

A Five Star Experience; Highly Recommended. This full day excursion is a feast for the eyes and the soul. Beautiful scenery, taking us through amazing mountain ranges and passes set in contrast to the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean. The tour started with a pickup at the meeting point and includes travel by road, boat, trams and train.
The mountain roads were narrow and curvy but our driver, Juan, navigated it with ease and panache. Our guide Luis, was excellent and provided helpful context that enhanced the quality of the experience.
Response from Host, Mar 2026

Juan will be delighted to hear your praise for his driving on those winding mountain passes, and Luis will be very happy that his commentary added extra context and enjoyment to your day.

Majorca sightseeing with boat and vintage train was an amazing all day tour. Our tour guide Pepe was good too. The winding roads by bus was a thrill in itself. We saw the Black Madonna, the boat ride along the rocky coastline and the vintage train.

We generally prefer to make our own adventures, but had just one day on Mallorca and chose this tour to try to maximize the time. It’s a great way to see a bit of Mallorca without your own car. And that mountain road drive — ooooof, very glad to have a professional. Which brings me to high praise for our guide (Pepe, aka Joe) and driver (Miguel aka Michael). Pepe flipped languages like a champ, was very informative, and kept a large group well taken care of to be at the right place at the right time all day. And it was really helpful to be on the ticket with him all day, whereas other folks not with groups were waiting for longer times for the tram and train.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review, Kimberly! 🌴 We’re delighted you chose to spend your only day on Mallorca with us and that the Mallorca in One Day tour exceeded your expectations. It’s the perfect way to explore the island without the stress of driving — and yes, that mountain road is definitely best left to the professionals! 🚍😅
Pepe (or Joe!) and Miguel will be thrilled to hear your praise. Our team always aims to keep everything running smoothly so guests can simply relax and enjoy the experience — no queues, no confusion, just great views and stories.

It was a very enjoyable day tour to see the island, all the attractions they brought us to are so beautiful. The ride up to Tramuntana is amazing , then the view you see when winding down the hair clip road to the coast is stunningly pretty .
We had everything in one day, mountain, sea, tram and train, it’s absolutely worthy of going . The guide Pepe is super professional and informative .

The day was amazing. We had the best tour guide, Angela and Miguel Angel the best driver( an absolute necessity due to the crazy road and turns!) we were taken to the wonderful places of our itinerary on a beautiful clean bus with A/C. There was plenty of information provided about all these places and in FOUR languages. We were able to do some swimming as well and a beautiful boat ride too while enjoying Mallorca. Beautiful area, wonderful day!!

The best organised trip and great value for money.
From start to finish our day was fabulous. Angela the amazing guide who spoke 5 languages to accommodate everyone and Juan the fantastic driver who traversed the 3 Maria's bend up in the mountains with such ease and humour. The boat, the tram and the train plus the other stops at the monastery were just so well orchestrated. Even the coach was the Majorcas' football team big red coach!!
I would highly recommend this trip even just to meet Angela and Juan. Two locals who are very passionate about their island. Book now!
Response from Host, Jul 2025

What an amazing tour! The tour guide Marta was very friendly and helpful. The Serra de Traumuntana road is brethtaking, The beach we stopped by is paradise and Soller is charming.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
hi Yan,
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're thrilled to hear you had an amazing time on our "Mallorca in One Day" sightseeing tour. Marta will be so happy to know you appreciated her friendliness and support — she's one of our dedicated guides who truly enjoys making every trip special.
We're also glad you enjoyed the stunning Tramuntana mountain road, the beautiful beach at Sa Calobra, and the charm of Sóller. At No Frills Excursions, we work hard to create memorable and well-organized experiences that showcase the best of Mallorca.
We hope to welcome you again on your next visit!
Anya_K, Jul 2025
It was alright. You just basically travel and travel by different transport. From coach to boat to tram to train to coach. You only get half an hour to explore the location before you have to run to catch the next transport, and obviously because you have to give yourself some time to get back, the whole exploring is only max 10-15 mins.
There was only one spot Sa Calobra where you had 1.5-2 hours, which is unfortunate a tourist trap with a extremely low choices of food. If you check reviews to the only 5 places to eat, they are all 1 stars but because you have almost 2 hours to kill, you will inevitably have to go there. There is an overcrowded beach and €2 for 4 mins showers, if you want to go for a swim.
The tram was very overcrowded with people packed like sardines.
The tour lady, I think her name was Marta or Maria was lovely, she has given a lot of details about quite a few locations in different languages which made the trip a whole lot more interesting.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Thank you Anya for your honest feedback and for highlighting the positive role our guide Marta (or Maria) played in making the experience more engaging. We’re glad to know you appreciated the multilingual commentary and the effort put into sharing insights about the places visited.
Regarding the itinerary, we understand that this is a full-day tour that includes a variety of iconic modes of transport — coach, boat, tram, and train — with the goal of offering a rich and varied overview of Mallorca in a single day. Because of the distances involved and the logistics of coordinating connections between transport modes, free time in some locations is limited. We try to balance sightseeing, comfort, and logistics as best we can, while providing a memorable and scenic journey across the island.
Sa Calobra, while small and naturally a very popular destination, is indeed more limited in food options, especially in peak season. We always recommend bringing a snack or light lunch if you prefer to avoid queues or restaurant options.
We truly value your suggestions and will certainly take them into account when reviewing our scheduling and content. We hope you'll consider exploring more of Mallorca with us on another, perhaps more leisurely, tour next time.

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Poor Communication, Zero Accountability
This was by far one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. I booked the Mallorca in One Day Sightseeing Tour through Viator, paid in full, and received a confirmation with a specific pickup location and time. I followed those instructions exactly — arrived on time, waited for over 30 minutes — and no one showed up. No signage, no representative, no communication.
Apparently, the tour operator changed the pickup location without confirming I received the update. A message was sent through the platform, but no effort was made to ensure I actually saw or acknowledged it. That is not effective communication, especially when travelers are relying on accurate, confirmed instructions.
When I reached out to Viator for help, they refused to take responsibility, claiming the operator marked me as a no-show. The tour operator did the same — both completely washed their hands of the situation. I’ve provided proof of where I was, when I arrived, and the fact that I never confirmed or acknowledged a location change, yet Viator still denied my refund request.
This wasn’t just a miscommunication — it was a complete failure of service, and both Viator and the local operator handled it terribly. No accountability, no effort to make it right, and no respect for customers who are left standing with nothing.
Do not book this tour, and be cautious using Viator if you expect any kind of customer support when things go wrong. Once they have your money, you’re on your own.
Jan_I, Jul 2025
It was a varied, well-organized excursion to beautiful places.
Please indicate more clearly in the description where the excursion starts and ends and that the transfer is added to the time.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Thank you very much, Jan, for your kind review and your helpful comment.
We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the variety and organisation of the tour — it’s one of our most complete and scenic excursions on the island.
Regarding your suggestion, the total duration indicated on the booking page includes the transfer time, and the meeting point is always clearly detailed both before booking and again on your ticket. However, we understand how important clarity is and will review the description to make this information even more visible.
At No Frills Excursions, we focus on delivering well-curated experiences with great value, professional guides and drivers, and seamless logistics — and your feedback helps us do even better. Thanks again for choosing us!
Megan_A, Jul 2025
The guides were great. Super friendly and knowledgeable. The experience itself was a little slow. A lot of time on the bus. We did enjoy Sóller and the train ride
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Thank you Megan for your feedback!
We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the guides and your time in Sóller and on the train ride. Regarding the driving times — indeed, Mallorca is a large island and reaching the Tramuntana area from the northern resorts requires around 60 minutes, sometimes a bit more on the return from Port de Sóller.
With pick-ups from multiple points and the total tour lasting nearly 6 hours, about 2 to 2.15
Denise_C, May 2025
Local guide is not reachable by phone. We stood on the street in front of the hotel 15 min before and spent 1 hour trying to reach them. Viator was helpful by chat but would not recommend No Frills tour. Very disappointed.
Response from Host, May 2025
Thank you for your review, though we’re genuinely surprised by your comments.
As Viator already explained to you, multiple clients were at the exact same meeting point and boarded the bus without issue. We also have GPS records confirming the bus was at the correct location at the scheduled time — and the vehicle was clearly marked, just as described in the instructions.
Given this, it’s hard to understand how others managed to find the bus and board, while you could not. Nevertheless, although this situation typically counts as a no-show, we made a gesture of goodwill by allowing a refund, something we’re not obligated to do.
We’re sorry your experience didn’t go as planned, but we do encourage future guests to carefully check the meeting instructions and arrive early, as clearly stated on the voucher.
Barbara_V, May 2025
We had a wonderful trip despite booking the wrong location. They wouldn’t let us change it to leave from Palma because it was within the 24 hour period. We had to take a bus at 530 am to get there on time. Thanks to Jeanine we were dropped off at the mall by the train station which saved us a couple hours on the return trip. The train and tram were wonderful! The bus driver was wonderful through all those the winding roads!! Great trip!!
Response from Host, May 2025
Thank you so much for your kind review, Barbara! 😊 We’re so glad to hear that despite the early start, you still had a wonderful experience. Jeanine will be thrilled to know her extra effort helped make your return smoother — and we completely agree, our drivers are incredible on those winding mountain roads!
We always do our best to help where possible, even with last-minute challenges. If you visit Mallorca again, we’d love to welcome you on another tour. Just search No Frills Excursions on Google — and from 2025, you’ll find our exclusive WhatsApp service at the bottom of our website. Mention that you’ve toured with us before and we’ll happily offer you a return guest discount!
Alan_F, Apr 2025
The itinerary is far too complicated. Coach held up on all mountain roads by excessive number of cyclists. Stop in Soller Port too short. Tram departure delayed by high tourist numbers. No time in Soller to look around. Had to get off late running tram and straight onto Wooden Railway. Great train journey but tours drop passengers off at a special stop which is just there to transfer back to coach. An interesting day but far too much rushing from one place to another.
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad to hear that you found the train journey enjoyable and that the day offered interesting sights.
We do understand that during Easter and spring, Mallorca experiences a high number of cyclists and tourists, especially on the mountain roads. For everyone's safety and comfort, our drivers take extra care navigating these routes — and we also see this as an opportunity for guests to take in the beautiful scenery along the way.
Regarding the time in Sóller, we want to clarify that the itinerary is designed as a panoramic experience with scheduled connections between the boat, tram, and vintage train. As mentioned in the tour description, we do not include free time in Sóller town itself, since the focus is on the journey and scenic transitions through some of the island’s highlights.
We appreciate your comments and take them seriously, as they help us continue improving. If you return to Mallorca, we’d love to welcome you on a tour that allows for more relaxed exploration.

The bus ride on the winding road was crazy insane. Our driver Miguel did an exceptional job of navigating the road and all the bike riders we encountered. The walk to the beach through the tunnels was remarkable. The boat ride was a great way to see the rugged cliffs along the coast. The tram ride was very crowded and the train goes mostly through tunnels, so you don’t see much from that end of the tour.

Thank you so much for your detailed review! 😊 We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the journey — especially the incredible mountain drive with Miguel (he really is a pro!), the walk to the beach, and the boat ride along the stunning coastline.
Regarding the train ride — while it's true that there are several tunnels (13 in total!), most of them last only 20–30 seconds, except for the main one which takes about 5 minutes. The full journey is around 45 minutes, and between the tunnels, you get beautiful views of the Valley of Sóller, the town itself, orchards, almond trees, and picturesque villages on the other side of the mountain. It’s actually a favorite part of the tour for many guests.
We really appreciate your feedback, and we’d love to welcome you back if you return to Mallorca. And starting in 2025, we’ll also have an exclusive WhatsApp service for direct clients — perfect for personalised recommendations and quick help from our expert local team.

We booked this trip months ago and added two friends from England recently. We were waiting to be picked up this morning when I communicated with the tour host saying that we were waiting at the assigned meeting point. I checked 10 minutes later and got a communication saying that a mistake had been made and the trip had been cancelled. I recieved a refund and am still waiting for my friends refund. We had planned this for months and are extremely extremely disappointed. Had I not checked my e-mails we could have still been there waiting. This is as unprofessional as it gets and makes me doubt the integrity of the tour guide and Viator. If they allowed me to give 0 stars I would have!

We're truly sorry for the experience you had, and we completely understand your disappointment — especially after planning the tour for so long.
What happened was a human error, and while we strive to maintain a high standard of professionalism, mistakes can occasionally happen, particularly with new team members still learning our systems. This situation is very rare for us, and not at all reflective of how we normally operate.
We did issue an immediate refund for your booking, and we're currently working to ensure your friends’ refund is processed promptly as well. We also personally apologised via message and tried to make things right as quickly as possible.
We’re all human, and we hope that, despite this unfortunate incident, a little understanding and sympathy can go a long way. If you ever consider giving us another chance in the future, we’d be grateful for the opportunity to show you the real standard of our tours — the one so many of our guests love and recommend.

Our day started at the meeting point, where we were supposed to be picked up by the bus. For us it was confusing, because there came few buses and we didn't know on which bus we were supposed to go (not any sign or anything). So we had to go ask. Luckily we found the right bus. Our tour guide Irena spoke four languages German, French, Spanish and English. But unfortunately when Irena got to speak English she only spoke few sentences and the she switched to other language. And it was noticable, because she spoke a lot in German, in French and in Spanish, but English was just lacking. When we were outside exploring, we felt like Irena wasn't that approachable. Like she was kind of shy. When we tried to ask her a question in English, we just got one word answer back. Also during the tram exchange everybody was confused, because we couldn't understand nor hear Irena telling us that we had to switch to another tram, so we just followed the masses. After the tram ride we had a boat ride, but the way to the boat was also confusing, because the lack of information. So we just followed familiar people and hoped for the best.
All in all the views were amazing and it was very cool to experience the tram ride. It was also easier for us that all the needed tickets were included in this tour. It was a positive trip for us and we did enjoy all the scenery and beautiful villages.

It was a beautiful tour. The only problem was one of our party has mobility issues that do not require a wheelchair but caused significant issues during the walk to Port Soller. Just a comment in the advertisement about the level of walking would be helpful. Our guide was excellent. Very informative and excellent language skills. He did everything he could to accommodate our needs.
