This tour organizes tickets and transport. They are not giving any tour information. They just take you to the places and you do the palace/castle audioguide. If you are capable, just get the tickets and organize the travel yourself. Otherwise you're waiting on the slowest people because the group has to enter together.
It was a self guided tour. Tour guide only escorted us to the gate then told us what time to meet and the location for the other tour.

Its NOT guided in any manner, The staff meeting you at Buckingham was late and gave only a map and wrong time for you to walk about 30 to thier off to go to Windsor Castle. Buckingham is less than an hour and the Castle is 2.5 hours. The balance is a complete waste of your time..

Lots of waiting. Was told wrong time between stops. Says USB charging on bus. Didn't work. Way to long between palace and castle plus walk from palace to next meeting spot long walk. Said meet at 9am. Ticket guy showed up 920.

I was in awe with what I experienced at both Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. The history and opulence and size of the grounds - just blew me away! Word of warning- if you’re going to do both tours - don’t do them on the same day! We walked over 4 miles when we weren’t riding. Also- be aware - you have to walk from Buckingham Palace to Evan-Evan’s office to catch the tour bus.

While it was neat to see both historical sites, and it was nice to have all the tickets and reservations done for us, along with the transportation by bus, I don't think I would book through this group again in the future. The guides never introduced themselves and they only were there to get us into the sites. They didn't share any historical information at all before our visits. When we were done with Buckingham and ready to go to Windsor, we were required to walk about 10 minutes to a sketchy part of town to check in for the bus ride. The receptionist seemed very busy and quickly checked us in and handed us wrist bands and told us to wait outside. The interaction was quick and to the point, without much personable chatter. The drive to and from Windsor was a bit nerve-racking with how the bus and other vehicles narrowly missed each other on the roads. I understand very well now why locals tell tourists NOT to rent a car here. You're mainly paying for the convenience of tickets, reservations, quick access, and transportation. We also didn't have much time to explore Windsor by the time we arrived, only a little over two hours. Someone like me needs more time to explore all the magnificent areas of this castle. In my opinion, the cost didn't match the service. But seeing these places was amazing. I highly recommend you visit both Buckingham and Windsor, but make sure you do them on separate days and devote most of your day to Windsor if you enjoy exploring all the rooms and artwork.

What a terrible tour! It is just an overpriced bus ride. No commentary at all at the destinations or on the bus. So poorly organised, nobody knew where they were supposed to be or what group they would be part of.

We were a group of four and experienced a great tour. Our guide was excellent and was knowledgeable. The Buckingham Palace tour was worthwhile, we walked through on our own with an audio guide. The Palace is stately and the grounds are stunning! We had a short break in between to meet back up with the group to catch the coach to take us to Windsor Castle. The village was lovely and it was a shame we didn’t get to spend more time there. The castle did not disappoint. Make sure you visit St George’s chapel as suggested before heading up to the castle.

This tour is not for the faint of heart. It is a LONG day. We walked over 16k steps that day. The castles are beautiful but the time at Windsor was not enough to get through all the audio tour. Too much time between the end of Buckingham and the start of the Windsor tour. It is quite a walk leaving Buckingham and getting to the Evan Evan’s office. The bus should have been at the exit to pick us up.

Ruth our tour guide and Yassim our driver were wonderful. Our our bus ride to Windsor Ruth gave us a mini tour telling us about things along the way.
The only negative we were a bit rushed trying to complete the Windsor audio tour. Perhaps a little more time needs to allocated to this portion of the trip and a little less to the Buckingham Palace portion or less time allocated between the 2 tours so people are not rushed on the Windsor portion

Buckingham Palace was amazing!! The areas we saw on the tour were beyond expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed getting a very small glimpse of how the royals live. Seeing Windsor Castle was quite a contrast to Buckingham as it’s a very different type of castle. The views from Windsor were spectacular and of course the castle itself was amazing. Our guide, Lesley, was fabulous - friendly, knowledgeable, professional and very engaging.

We missed the Buckingham Palace tour. We arrived at the meeting place 5min late. Meeting was 9am. But the Palace opens at 10am. We’ve been touring for 20 countries but this is the only company (Evan Evans Tours) that doesn’t call customers if lost or a few minutes late! Poor communication! Not a good customer service. You see, the Palace guards called them and would’ve allowed us to get in and follow the group but this company says NO. And we spent almost $500 with this tour. If the palace guards says No, then it’s okay… but it’s not okay if the guards says OK and even pleading the company rep to let us follow the tour but this company says NO. Again, it was still 9:05am-9:15am of waiting at the gate. The Palace opens at 10a. At least give us 1/2 refund coz we missed it but NO. It’s BS! Other countries don’t act like this. I’m appalled that “supposed to be one of leading countries in the world” but disregard customer service! Of all, this is the worst customer service so far. Poorest communication! Don’t book them, you’re wasting your money! Worst customer service! Poor communication!

Better to do the tours all by yourself, because that’s what you are going to do anyways. Save time just take the the train to Windsor, don’t pay these guys for a useless “tour”. What a waste of money!

Fabulous day! Buckingham in the morning, Windsor in the afternoon! Godfrey was very knowledgeable in history and gave a talk while on the bus. We hit a bit of traffic so that cut into our time at Windsor (can’t fault anyone for that). Thanks to Robin for being an excellent driver. We actually left for Windsor and to get back home on time, which never happens, as folks are usually late. Highly recommend this tour.

When you visit Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle the price of admission includes audio tour guides. The tour guide from the company is not allowed to accompany you, so there is little value added. The worst part of this tour is getting to their bus to visit Windsor Castle in the afternoon. After the Buckingham Palace tour it is a long walk leaving the Palace grounds. You then have to walk about one mile to the Evans Tour Company office to catch the afternoon bus to Windsor Castle. That gives you about two hours for the walk and to find a place to eat lunch. This struck me as a very bad plan. The bus should have met us closer to Buckingham Palace.

Buckingham Palace is about 15-20 minute walk from our office. As there is a variety of eating spots between Buckingham Palace and our office, we provide our guests with free time to stop at their preferred spot and meet us again at our office for the afternoon part of the tour.

This is a good tour and the guide is lively and enthusiastic. He brought fun Harry Potter props and made a point of sharing entertaining stories to bring the sites to life. I definitely recommend it.

Our guide Deborah was outstanding & this tour of the Palace & Windsor is a must! If you are fortunate enough to be in London in September or August when the palace is open don’t miss this tour! Great lunch fine driver fabulous guide and extraordinary opportunity-so very happy to have booked!
Our tour of Buckingham Palace was fine, but you would be just as well off doing it on your own. After we stood in the sun for over an hour waiting for the bus 'traffic' supposedly. The trip to Windsor and lunch were OK, They then dump you in the castle for your walk thru. Unfortunately for us it was extremely crowded and very hot. Not the tour fault, but again - except for the bus ride out to WIndsor - just as well of and save some money doing it direct.
A long pleasant day that shows the royals in the proper light ant the history of the crown through the art over centuries
Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle are definitely 2 “must see” places. Just don’t use this Viator excursion! The morning went fine, but Windsor was a nightmare. Our tour guide, Norma, was useless when two of us got turned around and lost on our way back to the car park where the bus was located. She had not given us a cell number so we could reach her, and when we finally called a friend who had made it back to the bus, Norma refused to talk to us, and ridiculed us to the other passengers. We reported that we were at the post office, and Norma said she didn’t know where that was. The bus ended up leaving us behind in Windsor. Very stressful! We had to find our own way back to London.
