Gian Carlo was awesome! The bicycle tour of Miraflores & Barranco was one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. It was approximately a 10 kilometer ride which was broken up into small distances between informational snippets of the area. Gian Carlo was extremely personal and felt like a life-long friend. I would recommend this tour for a single or a whole family. It was a great way to get our bearings and plan the rest of our time there. Thank You Gian Carlo!

Waited for 90 minutes for this tour.
We Arrived on time, Seemed no one knew I had booked the tour the evening before. Lots of traffic due to a soccer game. So that delayed guide even more and was congested to ride in the city but doable. Lovely ride once we made it to the coast. Nice guide that accommodated an delish ice cream stop. Bikes were older and needed some maintenance.

Do this on your first day in Lima especially if you’re staying in Miraflores. It really helps you get a lay of the land and appreciate everything the city has to offer. Mani the tour guide also gives really great specific recommendations whenever it’s relevant to the conversation, so ask lots of questions!

Our guide, Alonso, was excellent. He kept a comfortable pace and always checked to make sure we were all keeping up. The city can be very busy and he did a great job making us all feel safe as we navigated around the city.
The coordinator of the tours was also very energetic and welcoming. The meeting spot was at a small restaurant so we stayed after and had lunch. The bake ziti was a favorite!
The bike tour was a great way to see different parts of the city in an efficient way while also getting a little exercise. It was the perfect last day of vacation!

This is more of bike ride than a tour, personally I didn’t get a lot from the small bits of history. I was the only one on my tour and my guide was late. I imagine it’s more fun in a bigger group. It’s still a nice ride along the coast.

Great biking tour with Manny! Took us all over Miraflores & Barrancas answering our manny questions. They checked in regularly with biking abilities, safety, water intake, etc.

Juan Carlo was an excellent guide around Lima. I was the only guest on the tour. I liked the pacing of the stops at the different destinations. He would give information about the stop and then some time to look around and take pictures. He gave me the option of city bike or mountain bike. I chose the mountain bike. I saw all of the sights on my list plus some I hadn't read about. But getting background information made the experience so much better. And I learned a lot about the people and cultural influences in Peru.
This tour uses both bike lanes and car lanes. While mostly flat, there was one steep climb and one quick ramp next to stairs. It is a really fun way to get around and see the city quickly.
If you like to add a little exercise to your sightseeing, don't hesitate to book this tour. I loved it!

Bikes were old and felt a little unsafe. The guide was nice but was not a proper tour guide with a lot of knowledge, he actually did say this isnt a proper tour it's more of a friendly bike ride. There was an altercation with a driver in traffic also. I wouldnt recommend this trip and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars is just because the guy was nice and I feel guilty leaving a poor review otherwise not sure if it is even 2 stars.

The tour was a great introduction to Lima. I booked on the last day of my 12 day stay in Peru. Only wished I had booked the first day of arrival in Lima.

Giancarlo was an excellent guide. We did about 14km around Lima and he was really responsive to our wishes. So we had a lovely coffee so and a visit to Paddington Bear. All in all, a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend.

Bikes were a little old and not in the best shape. Our guide was 20 minutes late and then proceeded to take another 20 minutes bringing the bikes out. Our tour was to include a complimentary bottle of water - which we didn’t receive. We were encouraged to have an espresso while we were waiting - I thought this would be complimentary since our tour was so late getting started instead I was charged 5 soles for a cold cup of expresso. Overall Manny was a decent guide and his English was very good. Unfortunately out of the group of 7 - 3 of them were not experienced bike riders and nearly caused an accident with the others. All in all you get what you pay for.

The tour guide showed up 25 minutes late. There were a total of 9 of us waiting to get bikes. And wh m I say bikes I use that term very loosely as they were mismatched old and in terrible shape. It looked as if he bought 10 at 10 different garage sales

Manny did a great job on the tour. We were the only ones on it and I had read the reviews about crappy bicycles but decided to give them a try. As the only ones, I would have thought they would give us the best bikes, but no. Shortly into the ride i noticed my back tire was completely flat. And only 2 gears worked, one of them would constantly slip. We stopped about 15 minutes or so and Manny "fixed" the gear problem by telling me I only needed to stay in the one gear. The reality was that when we were riding fast I had to pedal twice as hard as the others to keep up. This was just inexcusable.
I would give Manny a 5 and the owner a 2. While waiting to leave he yelled at my friend for kicking the kickstand too hard. Great way to start a tour.

Our guide was nice, had a lot of good facts, and did a great job directing us even in heavily trafficked areas. We did this on our first day in Peru and it was a great way to see a lot of the city, learn about its history, gather your bearings, etc.
We arrived 5-10 mins early and our guide called employees working at the shop to tell us he needed another 30 mins. While not a problem for us, could see others on a tighter time schedule having a bit of a problem with this.
The bikes themselves were the worst part of the experience. While our guide indicated they were being tuned up in the next few days (apparently they do this every 2-3 months) both my bike and my husband’s bike had low air in the tires and the chains were loose which caused them to slip and for us to stay in low gear. While most of the tour is flat, would have been nice to get a little more power from each pedal.
We are young and athletic - but would not recommend for those who tire easily or get anxious biking in traffic.

Overall i enjoyed my biking trip along the boardwalk in Miraflores and Barranco.
Bikes could have been better though and better maintained. Mine was not particularly in good shape. Manny tried his best to make the tour fun and shared his knowledge with us in the different spots.

The guide started the tour by telling us that his wife had her cell phone stolen on the same street the tour started on, but that we shouldn’t be worried at all. Then, he told my husband, who identifies as afrodominican, that he does not consider him to be black. He also used offensive language during the tour, and was defensive with us when we called him out on it. The guide made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. We would not recommend this tour to anyone - it was one of the worst bike tours we have done in our lives.

We had a great time on this tour. The hosts and guide were very accommodating and we felt safe the entire time. We had plenty of time at each stop to enjoy the site and to take photos.
The only thing is be get there a little early and be careful to choose the right bike and try it out for at least a few minutes. The bikes are showing their age and some are not well maintained and difficult to ride.

We were told by our Viator rep that this business could facilitate children’s seats and helmets. When we arrived the man who runs the business was condescending and even provocative about the fact that we were at his business and he didn’t have the equipment for kids. He tried to solve the problem by having us put our child on a bike luggage rack!!
When a refund was requested it was denied by the company.
