Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Lima Upon arrival in Lima, you'll be transferred by private car from the airport to the respective hotel accommodation. In the evening, you'll enjoy a Lima Colonial-Contemporary-Dinner Show. Day 2: Full Day Tour of Lima (B) (D) At 8am, you'll be picked up from your hotel and enjoy a full-day tour of the city of Lima. The Viceroyalty of Peru was the most important of the Spanish Empire and Lima was its capital. Its historic center highlights the architecture and urban design of that period, old streets with colonial mansions Moorish balconies. You'll also visit the monumental Convento de San Francisco, which is the largest exhibition of religious art in America visited likewise subterranean crypts and catacombs. Then, you'll enjoy lunch at the city center (not included). Afterwards, you will go to one of the most important archaeological and religious centers of Lima: Pachacamac Sanctuary. Here, you'll do a guided tour of the citadel. On the way back, you can visit and take photos at one of the emblematic districts of Lima called Barranco, which still retains the Republican architectural beauty combined with the sight and smell of the sea. Rest for a while in the hotel. Then, in the afternoon at 5:30pm, you will visit one of the sources of water that has won a Guinness record for being the highest in the world. Then, you will go to a tourist Restaurant and enjoy 'Dama Juana'' one buffet dinner, accompanied by an artistic show of the most representative dances. Day 3: Flight to Cusco and City Tour (B)At the agreed upon time, you'll be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Cusco. Once you reach Cusco, you will be taken to your hotel and rest in the morning. In the afternoon, at around 1:30pm, you will enjoy a combined tour where you'll visit the main square, the Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha and then go outside the city center and visit the temples of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill and overlooking the city of Cusco. Then, you'll return to your hotel and have the rest of the day at your leisure. Day 4: Sacred Valley, Pisaq and Ollantaytambo (B) (L) After breakfast, you'll start your tour at around 8:30am. You will visit one of the most beautiful and important places to the Incas, the Sacred Valley. You will enjoy the beauty of its terraces, learn of different traditions including the blessing offered to Cusco the Vilcanota or Urubamba River. You'll also visit the ruins of Pisac with its panoramic view and the Indian market, where you can see a variety of products crafted by the locals. You will have lunch in a country restaurant (included in the program) and then continue to the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo. At approximately 7pm, you'll return to the city of Cusco. Day 5: Transfer to Aguas Calientes (B) You will be picked up from your hotel at 10am and be transferred to Ollantaytambo train station to take the train departing at around 12:50pm. You'll arrive in Aguas Calientes at around 3:55pm. You'll have the afternoon free to visit the town of Aguas Calientes, the thermal baths and craft markets. Day 6: Machu Picchu (B) On this day, you will take the bus that will take you on a journey of 30 minutes, rising by a zigzag path, to the incredible Machu Picchu. The tour includes a private guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of Three Windows and various cemeteries around for more than two hours. Then you will be given free time to stroll around the citadel on your own; then return to Aguas Calientes to head to the station and take the train back to Cusco. You'll reach the Ollantaytambo station at 8:45pm and then be taken to your hotel. Day 7: Flight from Cusco to Lima (B) Today after breakfast and at the appointed time, you will go to the airport and catch your flight to Lima and be transferred to your hotel upon arrival. You have the afternoon and evening off. Day 8: Flight out of Lima (B) At the agreed time, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
