About Tapas - It's a small Tapas plate to enjoy with the Wine 🍷 not a meal. Most of the people think it's enough and sometimes even there is some they don't finish the Tapas.

Pros:
Rui is a nice and fun guide. The stop in the city before the tasting is a nice idea. The winery is in a beautiful location.
Cons: while the stop in the city is a nice idea the time there is too short so you have to rush it. It should either be longer or left out.
The winery itself is beautiful but the wine tasting is a bit disappointing at this price point. You get tasting sipps of their three cheapest wines and a small plate of cold sausage and cheese. Have to admit this fits the description so far. However,
the glasses did not get changed between wines and water wasn't offered at the table. This is just absolute tasting basics.
For 130 Euro (two persons) you might be better off booking an Uber to the winery and buy their deluxe tasting. Or spend your money at some of the local wine bars.
No hate against the company or anyone working their but this is an honest opinion from someone who had their fair share of tastings that were more worth of what was paid.

We are happy that you enjoyed the experience with us. We understand that the price can be questionable for you. The description is clear and like you said, everything was delivered to you. The visit to Silves it's just a little stop (around 1 hour) and most of the people enjoy it. We have different tours where we enjoy a longer time in Silves.
About the Wine Tasting - we visit a Small vineyard where they do great wines. It's a family business and they don't have infrastructure to change the glass between wines but in your case we asked them to change it as you requested. Water is available too and we provided water to you in the van too. In the Tour we have the 3 Wines for Tasting and we even included a extra wine for you to taste. We include the Tapas Plate to go with the wine. You had a Wine Tour to the production room where your guide explained you a little bit about the process.
This Tour is much more than just a wine Tasting.
If you just want drink wine you can take Uber or spend the money around the Wine to drink, it's easy.

The time spent on this trip was ideal (4 hours). Our guide Rui was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the trip and fully engaged with both of us, always quick to point out places/points of interest. The visit to the Quinta Do Frances winery was really enjoyable with particularly good wines to taste along with some tapas. Definitely recommended!

This was a nicely timed trip. Enough time to enjoy the castle, pleasant walk down to the town. Nice tour of the winery and pleasant place to sit, try wines and enjoy the sunshine and tapas. Guide gave a good explanation of the area.

This is the 2nd. time we did this trip and again it did not disappoint! This time we explored the village and some of the shops. Ceramica al - tannur was my absolute favourite! Loved meeting the owners/artists! The winery was lovely with some wonderful wines but the best part was António our guide and the people we shared the trip with (2 from England and 4 fellow Canadians 3 of whom live in Ireland and England) Great laughs and great memories to take home with us. Obrigado António, hope to see you again sometime!

We had a lovely afternoon with António. Met some wonderful people from Australia and the U.S. Silves was a charming town and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the Moorish Castle but we especially loved our visit to the Quinta Do Frances winery. Our group celebrated an anniversary, a birthday and my being 30 years cancer free! Highly recommend this tour.

The tour wasn’t as advertised so bailed at Silves, got a taxi back to Lagos then got a full refund from the tour operator.

Hello Mike, I'm sorry that you felt that way about the Tour that you didn't experience until the end. When we pick you up at the hotel you come already with a bad attitude to your guide and the other guests on the Tour mentioned that. We went towards Silves and you had your time to visit the Castle and the Town. The time is flexible and the tour have a duration between 3 to 4 hours. You had plenty of time to visit Silves and after that you decided to ask for a refund without any reason.
Immediately we agreed and did the refund to you. We want to provide good experiences to our guests and we don't want people on the Tour if they don't want. You received your refund and we you decided to take a Uber back from Silves to Lagos that I offered to pay for. When we talked on the phone I tried to understand why you decided to leave the Tour and you were very rude and offensive. I asked how you want to received the Uber money and you made it all difficult calling me not trustable and Shark. Very disrespectful. This morning I went to your hotel and left the cash for your Uber Ride in the reception. You not even experience 20% of the Tour and you create all this problem.
We are very professional company with hundreds of happy guests and very good reviews. We always try our best to provide amazing experience to our guests and it's what we will keep doing.

We had an amazing tour with Rui! As it turned out, we were the only ones on the Monday morning tour. So we had our own personal tour. Rui was a fun and informative guide. The historic town of Silves is really interesting, we were given half an hour to explore and walk through the Main Street. Then off to the vineyard, which was really lovely. A small family run and very friendly vineyard. We had 4 nice wines to taste accompanied with a lovely tapas. Plus, Rui had picked some fresh figs on the way which he shared with us during the wine tasting. He then gave us a tour of the wine cellar and explained the process of wine making. We have done wine tours in New Zealand and Australia and never had the experience of a cellar tour. It felt very intimate and not too commercial. No pressure to buy wine but of course we took home a few bottles. They were very reasonably priced. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.
