Overview

The Children’s Eternal Rainforest is Costa Rica’s largest private reserve and home to an incredible variety of wildlife. On this guided jungle expedition, set out from the Pocosol Station, and enjoy a thrilling 4.5-mile (7-kilometer) hike to the Pocosol Waterfall. Along the way, hike around a volcanic lagoon and look out for howler monkeys, wild boar, and rare birds such as the Bare-necked Umbrellabird.

We had an amazing tour with Albert, and he truly made the experience unforgettable. Albert was incredibly genuine, kind, and knowledgeable. His love for nature really showed throughout the tour — not only in the way he explained the rainforest, plants, and animals, but also in the personal remarks he shared about the area and his own life. It made the whole experience feel very authentic and meaningful. He answered all of our questions so patiently and helped us build a much deeper understanding of the rainforest and the wildlife around Estación Pocosol. You can really tell that he cares about the forest and wants visitors to appreciate it in a thoughtful way. We also want to mention our driver, Steven, who did an excellent job driving and made us feel very safe and comfortable. Overall, this was a beautiful and memorable experience, and we are very grateful to Albert and Steven for making it so special.
