Cesar was an amazing guide. It's a lot of fun for all ages to learn about the coffee a ND cocoa process.... and getting to taste and make your own chocolate is amazing!! Cannot recommend this enough!

Excellent activity. Guide well versed in the history of coffee and chocolate. You will taste a LOT OF CHOCOLATE! We got to make bonbons to take home and and grind our own coffee to take with us. Lots of fun.

Our tour guide Yari was great. She was very knowledgeable and made it interesting and fun. She sang songs, beat the drum and spotted a sloth in the tree. We were lucky to see the sloth since it was a rainy day. The coffee and chocolate were delicious.

It was a fantastic experience! Nelson, our tour guide, made this tour entertaining and educational. We learned so much about the growing, processing, and history in a way that’s memorable and interactive. My two teenage kids were sceptical before the tour but ended up having a great time!

We arrived a few minutes early. We were greeted with a delicious welcome drink of soursop juice, and sat in the shade of the beautiful covered deck to watch wildlife and relax til the tour started. The tour was amazing! Our tour guide was very informative, but still fun to talk to. The chocolate and coffee were both amazing, as well! Almost all of the experience is in the shade, and often there are fans to keep the temperature more comfortable. We had a great time, and can't wait to eat our bonbons later!
We also had a crazy flight delay which meant that we didn't arrive in fortuna until the day after we had booked the tour. They had room for us the next day, and were very kind to let us reschedule for the following day.

This was a great tour! My husband and I were the only ones signed up. We were dropped off by our driver at the tour spot. We were early, so we enjoyed a glass of water while looking out at the river and watching iguanas in the trees. The guide did a fabulous job telling us the history of chocolate and coffee, along with the process to make each of them. We got to sample LOTS of chocolate and we added different flavors to it. The bonbons were tasty, and the traditional chocolate drink was so flavorful! This was such a great find! We highly recommend this to others thinking about doing a tour.

Awesome tour! We loved learning how chocolate & coffee are made. The bonbons we made were absolutely amazing and we got to take home a bag of the delicious coffee that we ground during the tour. Our guide was adorable and full of energy…she made the tour very enjoyable!

We had such a great experience there. Cesear was passionate, caring, so much knowledge. We had a really great time, we’re smiling and laughing the whole time and learned so much about all culture besides coffee and chocolate : the banana, the pineapple... the chocolat was delicious and coffee as well. You get to make your own coffee it is super fun I advice this for adults and for kids. If I could give 10 stars I would !! 100% recommend it.
