This day trip was our most fabulous experience in La Fortuna. Daniel our tour guide was really great from beginning to the end. He picked us up on time from our hotel. Showed us Sloths, Toucans, interesting birds and snakes on the way to the waterfalls, hanging bridges and the Volcano. He is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Also, he took us for lunch to his family owned restaurant that had absolutely amazing views and the food was very authentic and delicious. Daniel made our day and we will have happy memories of La Fortuna. Thank you Daniel and we highly recommend this tour to anyone who will like to make most out of their trip.

This was fabulous! We saw a ton of wildlife and had an excellent lunch at Jalapa. Gustavo was an awesome guide. This private tour is worth every penny.

This was a great experience. Only issue was we did book as a private tour but another couple ended up joining us for the day. However smaller group was still great compared to the large ones we encountered. The hanging bridges were wonderful, you do a brief climb to the lookout point of the volcano and then cool off with the amazing waterfall. Be prepared to walk a lot! Our guide Gustavo was wonderful! He had such a passion for his job that he just radiated and you couldn’t help but smile when he spoke. He even made leaf ants sound interesting! It’s a long day but filled with lots of information, beautiful sights and delicious food. Highly recommend!

This tour was amazing! The bridges at Mistico are a must see. Our guide, Tavo was friendly and knowledgeable, teaching us about the rain forest and spotting animals for us. Afterwards we hiked a trail near the volcano and then had a delicious, authentic lunch. Lastly, we saw the Waterfall and was able to go for a swim. Great day, highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful day with Luis! We scheduled the full day Private Tour and it was 100% worth it. Even in the pouring rain we were amazed at Luis’s knowledge of the area- geology of the volcano and how CR was formed, and his ability to spot wildlife at the hanging bridges. We saw snakes, birds, bats, a sloth, a toucan, and so much more. He was incredibly friendly and my young daughter adored him as well. High praise as she is normally very shy. He even suggested we stop for a hot chocolate and coffee to warm up after it rained on us for an hour, this helped greatly. Also the pictures he took for us will be wall canvases- you can tell he is a photographer! I will recommend Luis to anyone and everyone!

I cannot say enough about our day with Daniel touring Arenal Waterfall, Arenal volcano, and the hanging bridge park. We have a 9 year old son and 6 year old daughter, so we were a little worried about an all day adventure. However, the amount of knowledge that Daniel shares about the beautiful surroundings throughout the entire day kept the kids (and adults) fully engaged. He also has an uncanny ability to spot wildlife in the jungle. We saw sloths, toucans, monkeys, owls, exotic birds, lizards, and snakes to name a few. The lunch at his family restaurant was also amazing with delicious food and fantastic views! And as a bonus, he handed out gifts to the kids at the end of the day! Our time in La Fortuna would not have been nearly as memorable if we did these excursions without Daniel. It certainly was the highlight of the trip. Daniel has my highest recommendation for anyone looking for a wonderful day of adventure. Pura Vida!

This was our first time in Costa Rica and we wanted to try to get the best experience as possible in the short time we had before moving on to another area. This day did not disappoint. Honestly, before our “tour” even started, he was already helping us spot a sloth we hadn’t seen in a tree at our hotel. Daniel was an awesome guide as we went to Mistico Hanging Bridges, El Silencio, his family’s restaurant (included), and La Fortuna Waterfall. Daniel didn’t rush us through our experiences, but made sure we spotted flora/fauna and were able to capture the picture of an animal that we had been wanting to get. Our kids learned so much from him (they’re 7 and 8), and we did too! He is a true gem in La Fortuna and well worth the money. Daniel is not only incredibly friendly but a true naturalist who is from Costa Rica and his enthusiasm is unmatched. I think you know you have a good guide when other people being guided by others stop to listen to yours. PS The lunch was the best we ate while in all parts of Costa Rica.

We were fortunate to see multiple snakes including a large Fertalans. This tour was very informative and our guide was excellent. Wrapping up at his family restaraunt capped the day off. The view was incredible
