This was one of our favorite experiences during our trip. Biking through the back streets of Kyoto was a blast and we felt safe the entire time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and super friendly. We had a small group so it was nice to be able to get some 1:1 time with our guide to ask questions and to learn about more than just the sites we were seeing. Highly recommend!

Pohan was an enthusiastic leader taking us to shrines, temples and forest on the 20km bike ride. Luckily it was in an electric bike! Not to mention the walks through the gardens and the bamboo forest. Pohan’s knowledge of the history and significance of things, places and events was impressive!

Great opportunity to ride through the quiet back streets of Kyoto and see the Golden Pavilion & Bamboo Forest. Sadly our guide didn’t get a group photo or have the group introduce themselves so we didn’t feel the fun vibe we have on other bike tours.

A fun way to see the sights of Kyoto with a fantastic guide who was friendly, knowledgeable and so accommodating. E-bikes are the way to go as it definitely made it easier to ride 20 km and not be physically exhausting. One of the best tours we have done on our trip to Japan, and highly recommend it for something different.

Our tour was led by Diego who was an AMAZING guide - very knowledgeable and articulate, who cared about our having a top notch experience. We visited important historical sites in 2 areas of Kyoto, so if you are short on time this tour itinerary is very efficient. Using e-bikes was a fun way to see local neighborhoods and a delicious lunch at a local ramen shop (not included in price) offered vegan and meat options. Diego's expertise made the experience truly memorable and I can highly recommend!

It was a fantastic way to see a different side of Kyoto as we rode through neighborhoods to get to the sites. Then when we got to them, the insights we received made us appreciate them more deeply. We had a small group so our guide was flexible and we had a great time meeting other travelers. The bikes were easy to ride so any level of rider would feel comfortable on this tour.

The bike performed well and our group size(10) was almost too many. There were times we got too spread out to get through a walk light. Our guide was great with better english than some other guides. A beautiful day and the lunch location was great

Wow! What a day with Jody our guide and 2 other fun couples! We biked, walked, dined and learned so much about Kyoto, customs and culture and many details.
Jody was the best guide ever! Kind, easy to understand, great sense of humor and full of amazing details to educate and inform us.

Jorge, our guide was awesome with full of info and stories. He spoke fluent English and very caring for the group. The bike route had a mixture of local neighborhoods, main streets, and little alleys. We had ample time to enjoy temples, shrines, and bamboo forrest. E-bike is a great option to sample Kyoto area.

Did this with my husband, and 2 kids (12 and 10). Kids both rode e-bikes. Very enjoyable day. Our guide took us around the sites and explained features of interest. When we got to the Golden Pavilion the line was crazy long, but our guide got us in without waiting. For lunch we went to a real local’s diner and our guide helped us to order. It was lovely to take the back seat for the day and just be shown around and not have to make decisions! Would definitely recommend this tour.
