    Calming experience. Insight to the traditional architecture. Well preserved and cared for house. Not much English translation available other than the standard leaflet. Tea on the living room looking out over the garden made it feel like we were alone and living history.

    係の方々が丁寧に教えてくださいました。 京都の四季と共に、また伺いたい場所です。グッズの唐紙ハガキをもっといただいておけばよかったと思ってます。明治期の京都文化、日本文化の良さと、下鴨という土地の豊かさを感じました。 マンションばかりにならないようにしてほしいです。

    当日空いていれば、2階に上がれるお茶券もありました。 そちらに変えても良かったかな。 それだと思って買ってしまったから。 お庭は桔梗を眺めながら下を歩くと ハスが咲いていました。 美しい景色ですよ。 静かに眺められて私は好きです

    下鴨神社のお隣にひっそりと佇んでいるお屋敷。観光客でごった返している街中の喧騒から離れて、しばしまったり出来ました^ ^ 従業員の皆さんの感じも良かったです。 古民家好きな人はぜひ訪れたほうがいいと思います。 2階、3階に上がれなかったので★1つマイナスしました。
