This was an engaging, learn-how hands-on activity with a beautiful silk scarf for yours to keep at the end. The museum upstairs is amazing and the father and son have some of their intricate, stunning work to see. Highly, highly recommended.

    Fun activity for any age

This was so much fun. You got to choose what you wanted to dye - t-shirt, bag, noren, hanging. Then came the fun of deciding what picture to trace. There are many different designs and sizes of designs to choose from. You do a practice piece then start on your own design. You get instructions and help as you need it. I'd do it again. (For some reason, I was unable to upload photos of my t-shirt.)

We learned how to make a particular style of shibori and were completely engaged in the process from beginning to end. The results were way beyond expectations. The instructor spoke English. Thank you Nina and the Shibori Museum.
