I was not impressed I made this booking for the the 10:00 I am English speaking to a vital change it to 1:00 p.m. English Polish tour we left after 2 minutes cuz all she did was speak Polish seeking a refund

Amazing tour fantastic guide called Ewa - very knowledgeable about history of the place. We really appreciate the fact how she managed to tell us all the interesting facts in both Polish and English languages as we are international couple and my partner was the only English participant. He felt special and not excluded. Five stars definitely recommend 👌

I've literally never met a guide more passionate in his work, he also has a very pleasent personality, he definitely gave us more than we paid for! Super highly recommended.

A 1.5 hour trip which will give you a tour of a small section of the castle. Our guide made that clear from the outset and when you see the size of the castle you'll soon understand why. A tour of the whole thing would easily take up a day we were told and I could believe it. Our section of the Royal Chambers and some of the armaments consumed our allocated time period with the subject descriptions delivered in detail. Our only small criticism was that our guide wasn't always easy to understand. A lovely lady but quietly spoken with her strong local accent proved challenging for us at times. However from what we could hear it was obvious she knew her subject well. That aside the castle is a stunning piece of architecture with a lot of history within its walls. A must visit if coming to Krakow.

Castle worth visiting. But wear good shoes and try to get a good guide (castle staff) as there's a lot of stories that make the castle more beautiful - even the armoury

The guide seemed to rush us through the rooms we visited, there was a lot of tapestries and other artefacts in the rooms but the guide never gave us much time to look at them and appreciate the wonder of them. The castle is an amazing place just wish that the guide was slower going through the rooms

The tour guide from the castle was fantastic but she really had to move us along to see only highlights to get done in time as there was so much to see. The castle contents were spectacular. It was so great to see so many tapestries and historic relics. Highly recommended.

I had purchased a Senior Citizen ticket for my mum. Before we embarked on the tour, the lady from the tour operator Discover Krakov asked me for proof of my mum's age. I told her I had left the passport in the hotel, which was 5 minutes away and I could get it at the end. She said it was alright. 15 minutes later when we walked up the hill to the castle to begin the tour, she asked for ID again, as if she expected it to suddenly appear and then charged full price for my mum who was clearly over 65. It is true that I should have brought my mum's passport but if the agent form Discover Krakov had told me to get them when we were first waiting I could have done so. This spoilt the tour somewhat for both mum and I. I have no complaints with the actual Tour Guide he was friendly, knowledgeable and allowed my mum to access the lifts of the castle as she would have had difficulties with all the stairs.

Awesome tour, we were pretty rushed though, and even lost the tour guide a couple of times. I was with my 80 year old father, who can generally keep up. We were walking up and down a lot of stairs and on uneven ground, the pace was a bit unreasonable. Besides that, I would still recommend going.

Great, informative and comprehensive tour of the cathedral, palace and armoury. Our guide was fantastic and we would highly recommend her - she was patient and addressed questions thoroughly, and even extended the tour so we could cover everything. We would have found it impossible to cover as much as we did on our own and we also learned an incredible amount about the history of Krakow and Poland.

My friend and I booked this tour last Saturday 17th June in good faith thinking we were going to get a good English speaking guide to take us around the Castle. There were over 30 of us on the tour and we did not have headphones so that we could hear the guide clearly. His name was JERZY and he spoke extremely rapidly and most of us couldn't understand what he was saying or couldn't hear him. I asked him to slow down as I could see most of the group was struggling. His reply to me was I suppose English isn't your first language, which I found rather rude I did tell him I was born and brought up in London but didn't get an apology from him. Needless to say, he carried on talking fast and did not wait for the group to catch up before explaining about each room we were in. So my friend and I found the whole experience awful and I personally didn't learn very much about Wawel Castle. Jerzy needs a sharp talking to from his employers!!!

The castle was very good but it was our guide who made the visit excellent - she was very interesting and provided lots of information over and above the basics.
It would have been nice if you could take pictures inside the buildings.

Although the guide provided many details on the castle, the size of the tour group was too large. It was difficult to hear the guide most of the time, unless you were standing right next to him. I strongly suggest that the guide be provided with a microphone/headset and the guest be provided with ear buds/headsets so that every participant clearly hears the great detailed information provided. The headsets would also help to block out the background noise of other tour leaders and their tourists.
