Too complicated -never got it going. Why not send a link vs requiring to download an app, use passwords, blah blah blah

Nancy, I’m sorry to hear you had trouble getting started with my Icefields Parkway Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour. After booking, you should receive a voucher and email instructions—did you receive yours? Sometimes it might go to your spam folder. If you can’t find it, please reach out, and I can guide you through the steps. Don’t worry, the tour is valid for a year, and I’m always here to help if you face any issues. If you’ve already left the location, I’d be happy to offer a replacement tour or process a refund. I’m available daily from 9 to 6 EST to assist. Safe travels!
Informative and Entertaining

The audio tour was very interesting, we learned about the history and geography of the area. The pace and tone of the speaker was perfect. It made the drive much more interesting! Highly recommend!

Getting it to play was bit challenging, but after that it was fine
Spring1972, Aug 2025
Even though this tour was downloaded from home where we had wi-fi, we could not play it easily the first time we were trying to use it. The next day, we were able to use it and you can set any view point as your starting point in this tour. And it gives you good information about all the lakes and waterfalls and makes sure you don't miss it. What I had done as a backup was also, printed out the entire tour itinerary and took it in the folder with us (studied it) so we can figure out where we want to stop and what we want to skip. But all in all, a good self-guided tour if you can use it properly
Response from Host, Aug 2025
Thank you for your feedback on the Icefields Parkway Audio Tour. I appreciate that you downloaded the app over Wi-Fi beforehand, which is always recommended since signal quality can be poor in some areas. I’m pleased that by the second day, you were able to use the app without problems. I’d like to understand more about why it didn’t launch initially—did this occur before reaching the starting point? Just a reminder, you only need to begin at the designated meeting location, and the app will automatically guide you there and start the tour. Printing the itinerary as a backup was a smart choice, although all stops are listed within the app’s story section, so you can decide what to see or skip. I’m glad you enjoyed the detailed information about the lakes and waterfalls!

We really liked the flexibility. We were able to travel at our own pace. The app knew where we were, so we could stop and start whenever we wanted to. The parks are spectacular and the narrated trip along the Icefields Pkwy was a great way to get a "taste." Especially good for senior citizens!
