Overview
Hop on your own ATV and explore the jungles in Jaco. First, learn how to operate your ATV and complete some laps on the practice track. Then, head off toward the area waterfalls, where you will have time to swim and enjoy the natural surroundings. Plus, a professional photographer will be along for the ride, capturing pictures of your adventure, which will be available for purchase.

- Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard) Required for ATV Deposit Important Information: To secure your ATV reservation, a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) is necessary for the deposit. We will hold a minimum of $1,000 on your card for 1 to 5 vehicles; this amount is fully refundable. Alternatively, you have the option to purchase insurance coverage for $25 per ATV (non-refundable). For buggies / side-by-sides, the insurance fee is $100 per vehicle.

We did this tour with my family of 8 people- all over 21 years old. Some choose to ride solo while others paired up. They were super accommodating of whatever people preferred. There is a locker area at the check in location to store belongings / change of clothes for after the tour. The ATVs do have a storage compartment that you can fit a small bag to take along with you. We started with guides Marco & Jose who were FANTASTIC! So friendly, fun, made everyone feel confident on the ATVs & they gave clear instructions! The tour starts with getting helmets and a little ATV lesson. Then a quick spin around the little practice track (smile for pictures) & then off you go! You take a few minute ride on the road to the first panoramic view of the ocean — absolutely stunning! Plenty of time to take pictures and ask about the sights in the distance. Then off to the next lookout spot which was s suspended bridge/lookout which was great for more pictures! From there we went to an area to look for some wildlife. We got to see some sloths in the trees! The guides were so knowledgable and helped spot them. They gave us cold water which was much needed and so refreshing! Then off to the final spot - the waterfalls. Once we arrived to the area, we walked about 5 minutes to the waterfall! It was so gorgeous & fun! Got to jump into a pool about 8 ft deep and then climbed a little more to the waterfall pool where you could take pictures under the waterfall ! It was so refreshing after getting dusty and dirty throughout the tour! From there we headed back toward the starting point. Enjoyed fresh fruit provided to us. We were able to purchase photos from the gift shop (but we did have our phones with us throughout the tour and took tons on our own so no need but nice to have if you want too). Overall we would give this experience a 10/10. It was the perfect activity for our family to get out, have a little adventure but not take up an entire day. We would highly recommend to anyone! Marco & Jose made it such a fun day! Tips: wear closed toe shoes that you don’t care about, you will get dirty (it was dry season for us so very dusty but part of the fun). Wear a bathing suit or clothes you dont mind jumping in the water in.

I did a private 1-on-1 ATV Waterfall Tour with Willam, and it was hands down one of the best experiences of my trip.
Willam was absolutely phenomenal. From the very beginning, he was patient and made me feel completely comfortable and confident on the ATV. His knowledge of the tour paths was impressive you could tell he was extremely familiar with the terrain and took safety seriously while still making the ride exciting and fun.
What really stood out was how much he educated me along the way. He shared insights about the local culture and explained the different sites we visited, which made the experience so much more meaningful than just an ATV ride. He was entertaining, well-spoken, and incredibly knowledgeable.
You can tell Willam is truly passionate about what he does. At one point, he even stopped to pick up trash he saw on the ground that alone spoke volumes about his character and respect for the environment.
Professional, personable, and genuinely dedicated I would recommend this tour 100 times over. If you’re booking this experience, ask for Willam!

There's no private beach and the waterfalls are not big at all. There's hiking up steep steps...The Atv ride was not a 3hr ride either.

This was a fantastic 3 hour tour. Our guide Mary took us through some challenging terrain, crossing some water and steep hills. Ended up over the beach where the views were amazing. We then traveled to a beautiful waterfall where you can swim and slide down some smooth rocks. Always felt safe as Mary was always checking on us throughout the tour.

Glen was awesome! He made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. We only had 4 people in our group (myself and one other were more experienced) and the two others were beginners. Glen made this tour extremely fun for all of our skill levels. We never felt bored and the beginners never felt out of control. Lots of fun hill climbs, riding through streams, and fantastic views! We had a three-hour ATV tour with Dorian, and had a blast. We really saw the beauty of the land, and the waterfalls and pools were so refreshing after being in the sun.
Dorian was a great guide, and explained exactly how to operate the ATVs safely.
If I could give this trip 10 stars, I would!

This experience was so awesome! Greivin was our guide and he was amazing. He made sure we had such a great time. It was just my son and I with him (which seemed to be normal that it was only your party on the trip) which we LOVED! He took tons of pictures and videos for us along the way. He was very friendly and made sure we saw all kinds of things. We got to jump out and swim at 3 different locations. Loved it!

Loved this ATV ride. I loved that the roads weren’t paved. It really felt like we were on an adventure. Our tour guides were awesome as well! Made the trip that much more enjoyable. Definitely recommend!
You have to pass a course in order to go on the adventure, but it wasn’t too complicated. We stopped along the way to take breaks at beautiful look out locations, crossed rivers and all of that!
I’d go everyday if I could!
