We highly recommend this guided tour. We learnt so much more than we would have going it alone. Unal was the most excellent guide, knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer all our questions. The palace and harem are a must see that is worth the expense.
Our guide, Unal was great, it was very interesting! Really enables you to understand what life was like in the harem and palace.
So so so much information! The guide was very knowledgeable about the palace as well as the history of Istanbul and Turkiyae. Once in awhile I’d want the guide to take a breath and let me think about all that he just said and also time to ask questions. The guide was very good at communicating before the tour and helped by getting the entrance tickets in advance.

Ticket fee for entrance is not included which suited better for us, as one of us didn’t need a foreign ticket (other tours seem to be charging only foreign tickets even I am Turkish). He already helps you accessing to the ticket office when you pay for your own.
Topkapi Palace is a must see Palace. My husband and I toured this morning with Unal, who was a good communicator from the moment I booked this tour to the end of the tour. His meeting place was clear. We had no problem finding him and he had a wealth of knowledge about the Palace and Istanbul. We learned the history of the palace.

Unal was a fantastic guide through our tour of the Topkapi Palace. He led us from one section to another in a very efficient way despite the crowds on New Years Eve! He explained to us all the important highlights like the Spoonmaker's Diamond and the Topkapi dagger. We learnt a lot about how the eunuchs live. The Sultan's quarters are magnificent. Expect to spend 2-1/2 to 3 hours here. You need strong legs as there are hardly any sitting areas to rest weary feet.

Unal was a very knowledgable guide, with a masters degree in tourism. I had considered visiting the palace without a guide but I'm so glad I didn't. While it would have been interesting Unal really brought the buildings alive with stories so that I felt like I was walking the halls hundreds of years ago.
My experience was a private tour with just me and Unal since no one else booked that day. Simply put, I loved it! Unal is approachable, detail oriented, eager to teach, and patient enough to let you explore Topkapi and enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. Topkapi is huge, many areas to visit, and I don’t think I would have appreciated it if I had gone solo or with friends.
Unal had my ticket in advance, I paid him in cash for it. After checking other tours for Topkapi, he offers the best value! It was nice meeting you, thanks Unal!

Unam was knowledgeable and kind. We had a small tour of only 4 people. Unam managed the flow of our tour to avoid lines. He gave a nice amount of history and anectodes. His communication regarding meeting was great.
We had a great and informative tour of the palace that was tailored to us. We spent a lot of time in the areas that we were interested in but skipped some that we weren't as excited about. Everything was amazing and Unal was very knowledgeable and wonderful.

Topkapi palace has so much to see. We had only a few hours of time and our guide helped us make the best of it. Unal was very knowledgeable. He was helping in answering any questions and projected his voice so we could hear him even when there were a lot of other people in a given area.
