We had an amazing private food tour in Hoi An with Nguyen, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. Instead of taking us to touristy restaurants, Nguyen showed us hidden local places that we would never have found on our own. We tasted a great variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes, including local specialties from Hoi An, and every stop had its own story. What we loved most was that the tour felt completely personal. There was no rush, no large group, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions about local life, culture, and food. Nguyen’s English was excellent, and his passion for sharing the real Hoi An was obvious throughout the evening.
