We had a wonderful evening learning to cook Vietnamese specialties with My. It was just our small group in the class. She was very attentive and explained everything well. We had a nice evening and a wonderful dinner.

We booked this cooking class as we understood that’s one of the things you can do to experience Hoi A culture. The cooking class we got was not similar to the pictures we saw in the review (at all). It was a nice lady who thought / guided us through a menu which was fun, but this was thought out of her home with her family around. She also seemed to have a cold, but eventually out on a mask which we appreciated. We understand that we were the only two people who booked the class that evening, so perhaps some modifications was made with regards to that.

I had an amazing time at this cooking class! The entire experience was not only incredibly informative but also really fun. The instructors were warm, energetic, and great at explaining each step, making it easy to follow along even for beginners. I loved learning about Vietnamese ingredients and cooking techniques, and the dishes we made were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed, full of laughter, and made the whole class truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Vietnam—it was one of the highlights of my trip!

Authentic, fun and delicious Hoi An cooking class

Me and my daughter loved our cooking class with Ms Nhung at their home in the countryside of Hoi An. Ms Nhung had a fantastic sense of fun as she guided us through a culinary journey of Vietnamese cooking where we made several delicious traditional dishes. It was a real feast and they also catered for my vegetarian dietary requirements without any issues. Ms Nhung and her equally funny husband, Mr Cu, talked about how the money they earn through their cooking and tour business enables them to employ local people who live with disabilities, inspired by their eldest son who lives with Cerebral Palsy. This added another dimension to this wonderful experience as the cost you pay for the class assists a great cause. I’d highly recommend this cooking class as an authentic Vietnamese experience in every way and the food was just gorgeous. Thank you Nhung and Mr Cu for a perfect 😉time !
