Had an amazing private food tour with Bee, who was super informative and took us to 9 local spots. Most of those places we never would have found on our own. Everything was delicious and we were totally stuffed by the end. A great way to spend our first evening in Hoi An. Highly recommended!

Ou guide went by Tommy. He was prompt meeting us and taking us around to various small restaurants trying different foods. H explained the foods well. My wife bumped into a bike and cut herself. H went and got some first aid items for her. He was informative about the area as we walked around.

Excellent and fun tour with our guide Eric. We learned about the Ha Noi speciality Cau Lau noodles and how it is made. The tastings included Ha Noi hotspots such as Madame Kahn and Mot Cafe. Loved the drink at Mot and had to go back for seconds after the tour.

Great way to see and experience Hoi An!

This walking tour is a great way to see Hoi An and experience its vibrant street food scene at the same time. Ha Nguyen, our guide, is a 7th generation Vietnamese in Hoi An. He knows all the people in town, like the older gentleman who delivers fresh water to residents and the family who has the secret recipe for preparing this creamy but not too sweet black sesame dessert. Ha introduced us to the best banh mi and Hoi An soup noodles I’ve ever had, and my family of 4 (including some picky kid eaters) all found delicious treats among the 10 different dishes we tried across the various street vendors. When we arrive at each stop, Ha introduces us to the family operating the shop and tells us about their history. It makes us feel like we have a special “in” with a local! In addition to the food, Ha also points out interesting local sites, such as the 10th century well that contains the water used to make the best Hoi An noodles or the famous white rose dumplings. He also took us to visit an old prison converted to a ping pong recreational center complete with locals playing ping pong in old jail cells. Ha also took us to see the famous night market and beautiful streets lined by lit lanterns in the evening that were made famous by the UNESCO Cultural Heritage designation. The last thing I want to specially call out is just how friendly and helpful Ha is. We wanted to see the Hoi An Memories Show after the food tour ended but we had struggled to purchase tickets online in advance. When I mentioned this to Ha during our tour, he jumped into action, made a few phone calls, secured tickets for us, and escorted us all the way to the front door of the theater without charging a dime extra! Going above and beyond doesn’t even begin to describe Ha. Simply put, he made our visit to Hoi An an incredible, A+ experience.
