SPRINT! Don’t walk! To this absolutely stunning cooking class - we didn’t really know what we were walking into as it was the first cooking class we had ever been to, but my god were we impressed! The food was spectacular, the ambiance timeless, and our chef-guide (Jam) charming and knowledgable. We were initially dubious as to whether a cooking class is worth the money they are asking for, but let us tell you it absolutely is! Would go back in a heartbeat and recommend this experience to anyone local in the area who loves good food and a fun time!

Absolutely the best thing we did in Hoi An! Our instructor (Jam) was fantastic - great English, clearly knew both how to cook and how to teach, and the menu was perfect. 110% recommend!

It was our first asian cooking class and didn’t know what to expect. We had Pinky as the head chef. She was fun, entertaining and good but it was very ‘chop chop’. We would have preferred to have more explanation as to why we use this ingredient, what flavour does it boosts etc. It was just my partner and I during the class and we were given different tasks to prepare the dishes. Therefore, there are certain things that one of us didn’t see on how to cook the dish. Dishes cooked/made were simple enough but if you’re a first-timer in a kitchen probably you will get lost. I expected something different, where we would have our own station to recreate the dish. Pretty much it was just food preparation, instructions on how to make them (which you can do at home) and that’s it. In terms of seasoning, we didn’t do much as the chef did it. It’s like when you’re interviewing someone on a cooking show and they show you how to make and cook something, and you’re the assistant.
