Overall it was a good experience. These are activities that we could have done ourselves too, but if you're a history buff then you're better off going with a tour guide to the temple to learn the history. The bike ride was barely a few minutes long. That was the most fun part, but I feel like it should have been longer. The boating experience was lovely, relaxing and about an hour and a half. ( would recommend carrying snacks and drinks on the ride as the vendors will try selling it to you for double)

And following your feedback about trip in Ninh Binh, we would like tell you something as the below : 1-" The bike ride was barely a few minutes long. That was the most fun part, but I feel like it should have been longer" -) It is not true because we just checked again already with our tour guide on that day. He said that the time for biking was not long only few minutes as you said. It took already nearly 45 minitues because we do it everyday for our cutsomers so we have never arrange biking activities only few minutes long. And we also check other customer who also join this tour that day , they said that time for biking was long about 45 minites not only few minutes. Please help us check it again to make sure it will fair to us. 2-"The boating experience was lovely, relaxing and about an hour and a half. ( would recommend carrying snacks and drinks on the ride as the vendors will try selling it to you for double)" -) It is true because most of our customers like doing boat trip very much in this trip. They will seat on bamboo boat and the local people will row the boat along the river and through in the small caves so it is very exciting. AND THE VENDORS will trying to you for double is also true because they are farmers, all month they work in the fields. They only have one day to row the bam boo boat to take tourists visit caves in Tam Coc, so the only way they earn extra income is from selling their things to tourists. They know that you come from abroad to have a better life, so they hope you buy things to support them. In short, we always highly appreciate all customer reviews.
