    Halong Bay and the cruises are over rated.

    This is a very rushed excursion. We had 3 different guides. Picked up at the hotel by one, handed over to another at Halong Bay and left to be brought back to Hanoi by another. Not one of them told us anything about Halong Bay. Very disappointing. We were nit returned to our hotel because of traffic restrictions. We would have appreciated being drooped off closer to oyr hotel rather than having to walk 20mins after a full day outing.
