Wonderful Tour! Great Guide!

Our guide Ken was wonderful- he spoke excellent English, and made the tour fun despite the rain! This tour was totally worth while, we could never have found our way to all these places in 3 hours. Honestly you need the guide just to cross the street in Hanoi! Negotiating the streets as a pedestrian is not for the faint of heart. But the sights are worth seeing and we really enjoyed the Salt Coffee on Train Street. Great walking tour. The best way to see the Old Quarter. Also our guide met us at our hotel, that alone was worth it, not to struggle to find a meeting point. Everyone is so nice here! Really enjoyed, 10 out of 10!

Hanoi Fantastic City Walking Tour Guide

Fabulous walking tour

This was a fabulous tour. Frank is a delightful guide, educational, funny and kind. He answered the millions of questions I had with no complaint. I was ready to cut the tour short because it started pouring rain, but he did not miss a beat and never complained. When I finally told him I had enough rain, he made sure to get me safely back to my hotel. I saw someone complained about not having a train go by on train street, but that was not advertised and Frank told me from the outset that we may not actually see the train, but he immediately checked the schedule and adjusted the tour so we could. All I had to do was ask.

Great Introduction to the Old Quarter

This was the perfect tour for us to get acquainted with the Old Quarter, the street markets and food stalls. Our guide Anna Nguyen was exceptional showing us the sites and her experience as a Street Food Tour Guide in the Old Quarter just added to our enjoyment. Anna made sure we had front row seats at 12:15 pm and beverages in hand as the train passed on Train Street. Walking the Old French Railway Bridge was a wonderful opportunity to observe locals going by in scooters and view the Mekong. In addition to tasting some of the street food we ended the tour with a delicious egg coffee (don't miss the opportunity to try it, either hot or cold).

Great 4 hours learning about the Old Quarter etc. Only disappointment was that we didn’t get to see the train coming through Train Street when we had been informed on booking that we would see it running.

Great way to spend a first day in Hanoi

Such a knowledgeable tour with such a personable tour guide. Harry took us around and was able to answer all our questions as well as keep the conversation going while showing us all that Hanoi has to offer. Our only regret was not getting a picture with him.
