The excursion to Vevey and Montreux was magical. Breathtaking views of Lac Leman and the Alps. The stops at Chaplin’s World and Chillon Castle were the icing on the cake. Our guide was great; provided just the right amount of narrative during the day and gave us a nice snack and wine at a vineyard overlooking the lake. If you appreciate music, be sure to find your way to the Queen Studio Experience during free time in Montreux; amazing to see where Freddie Mercury and Queen recorded their last several albums. I highly recommend this excursion.

Pros: great sights. Charlie Chaplin museum/home was great, queen experience was cool, views spectacular! Our guide Norman was a wealth of knowledge and was funny.
Cons: length of time of the tour. It’s a very long day. I think this should be split into 2 tours.

We were so pleased with our guide/driver, Dean. He was informative, friendly and very kind to our family member who needed some assistance. The Chaplin home and studio was interesting, the scenery was beautiful, our wine and snack stop was breathtaking! The Chillon Castle was memorable.

Beware risk of missing the tour when the driver goes to the wrong hotel and you have to join it later at your expense or lose it altogether as it is treated as a no show. Many disgruntled pax on this tour who had prepaid and service not delivered.

Since your accommodation was in the city center, we kindly requested guests to make their way to the nearby bus station, which is within a short walking distance from most hotels. I took Swiss Tour before and it was absolutely amazing! We had a driver and the Guide was wonderful and very informative.
This is why I booked another one.
Well, it was a mistake! Big mistake!
At this trip we only had a driver. He informed us where we are going to drop off and picked up. That's all !
Oh, and on the top , we had to make a detour to a DIFFERENT town to pick up someone, which extended our travel time by an hour!
Terrible!!!

I was looking forward to a visit at Chateau Chillon but I was totally surprised at what a great museum Chaplans world turned out to be. A great visit lead by Normunds! He made it fun despite the scattered rain.

The one disappointment was Viator selling the trip as a hotel pickup and drop off at the end of the tour, but they changed the terms and said we had to get to the tours office instead. This inconvenience cost us an additional $40 in taxi fares getting to and coming back from the tour. The tour itself was fantastic, Roger was the tour guide and he was very informative and funny in his presentation. Montreaux and the Chaplin museum were the highlights for my wife and I.

As mentionned we pick up only from the airport area, we don't pick up from the city center as all the hotels are concentrated around the office, about 5 minutes walking. Moreover, in the center, hotels are situated in small streets and the buses cannot pass. On the other hand, we are glad you liked the tour and Roger. Best regards

An absolutely amazing , I could say, top and out of this world SWIS riviera experience. I highly recommend this trip. I would do again this trip was spectacular !!!
This will change your life. I was alone and this trip and I was the only one at that moment in time in the bus.
It was a private tour for me with picnic 🧺 omg spectacular view and magnificent guide Normunds .
Thank you so much to Normunds, My tour guide was just excellent and exceptional with all details and info perfect English . We had Picnic with wine 🍷 in Vevey Magical Place !

This was such a great experience. I am so glad that Normunds was our tour guide that day. He was patient with our group even when we ran a few minutes late. It was a small group of people from all over the world that blended well. The Charlie Chaplin stop ended up being much better than I expected. The museum was pretty cool I wish I could have had a little more time to walk around that and less time around Castle Chilton. The boat ride to the Castle was gorgeous even though I had to fight bees. Normunds was really accomodating he walked us to see the Chaplin statue on the riverwalk. I regret that we didnt have enough time not letting my mom go to the Market she saw some Chow mein that was intriguing but by time we got back to the port the boat was coming, Chilton was nice but too much time for me there. You had to pay extra for the audio guide and after going to larger forts I passed on that and just ear hustled 😀. Normunds gave us snacks and wine that were tasty. He took us throughout wine country and had to battle the van door giving him problems. Again he kept his composure through this and kept us safe. He dropped us off in Montreux and we had time to walk around and get a late lunch.
This trip was myself and my parents. I am an adult child which is not an option below.

Norman was awesome driver/guide. Chillon castle amazing. Loved Charlie Chaplin home. Views incredible. Take the cruise to the castle! Would have preferred more time at the castle and less time in Montreux. Great FULL day.

We aren't charlie chaplin fans but the museum was interesting. Our tour guide, Roger, was really good. the best part of the tour was his wine picnic he set up for us. Long day with lots to see. Castle was pretty.

Beautiful scenery. Guide was knowledgeable but couldn’t be heard very well on the bus because there was no microphone. Would have been nice to spend less time at Charlie Chaplins world and more time in vevey or walking around the vineyards. Also be forewarned to eat lunch somewhere, snack was light and we got home 2 hours later than scheduled, missed our dinner reservation and were famished

It was a very fulfilling. It is a full day experience to do quick tour of a couple of Swiss cities in the lakeside and the Chaplin estate. You have a chance to walk a lot and quickly in the city and rest in the commutes. Great tour guide, from Greece kept the spirits up.

We took the Luassane, Vevey, Montruex, Chillon Castle. These locations are beautiful. Our guide who was also the driver was a nice guy but his information and specific instructions to do activities in each site were limited probably because of his limited proficiency in English and may benefit to have a microphone on the bus.

Déception, vous vendez une excursion de 9h30 à 19h00 et nous sommes rentrés à 17h15 : donc pas assez de temps pour faire le manoir et le stdio Chaplin, pas assez de temps pour visiter le château Chillon en entier, et deux heure minimum annoncé pour visiter Montreux et non 1h15!!!! Donc c'est du vol à l'état pur, très déçue.

Bonjour, Merci pour votre commentaire. Le tour dure en été de 9h à 19h0. en hiver de 9h30 à 17h30 approximativement. En avril, nous sommes toujours sur la saison d'hiver. Nous sommes désolés que vous vous pressé.
Dans une excursion, vous voyez beaucoup de site en une journée. En effet, en tant que particulier vous pouvez facilement rester 4h à Chaplin, 2 h à Chillon , 3h à Montreux mais une excursion est un condensé de tous ces endroits pour voir différents endroits. Les tarifs en Suisse sont élevés mais notre but n'est pas du tout d'arnaquer nos clients. Nous vous souhaitons de belles vacances.
