Itinerary

Your day on the Swiss Riviera begins with pickup at your Geneva hotel and transport via an air-conditioned vehicle to Lausanne, where you’ll have an hour to visit the Olympics Museum (admission not included). Then continue on to Montreux—or upgrade to make the trip between Lausanne and Montreux via vintage boat—for two hours of free time to take in the town’s casino and other top sights and grab a bit to eat.

Next, head to Chateau de Chillon and explore this landmark castle for an hour at your own pace before a scenic drive through the Lavaux Vineyard Terraces. End with a drive along the lakefront back to your hotel in Geneva.

We had booked a trip on july 24th - swiss riviera private tour and no one showed up. Visitor will refund us anyways after 3-4 days but it ruined the day for us .

They didn’t show up, nor cancelled beforehand.

I booked the private tour via Viator with GVA Transfers SARL and they didn’t show up on the day of the tour. I tried contacting them in every way possible, but they never responded. Viator did refund me very promptly, but all the hours I wasted waiting for them in Switzerland cannot be paid back.

It is just a driver. I would recommend as it is nice having someone drive. The Olympic Museum is a must as well as the Queen exhibition at the Casino. The castle walking tour by yourself is wonderful. We did not do the boat ride.

Please read the description since this is NOT a guided tour but just a driver who brings you to each location. The only redeeming factor on this tour is that the locations you are going to are great but the money you spend for a driver isn't worth it.

Overpriced Uber

This is not a guided tour or drive, it is only a drive. Pretty overpriced Uber if you ask me. I was really looking forward to this day, but unfortunately our driver pretty rude and unpleasant. He offered no information about any of the places we visited or drove by on along the way, my fiancé and I were actually googling our questions in the back because when trying to ask we were met with such hostility. Not to mention he was a poor driver, stomped on the break regularly, and had a temper. I hope he was just having a bad day and this isn’t usually like this, but his bad day came at a high cost for us… I gave 2 stars because the sights of course were still beautiful when we got out and at least there was AC.
