It wasn’t quite what we expected. There was too much merchandising. Trying to get us to buy things, which wasn’t our purpose. We just wanted to get oriented. He also was on his phone part of the time. He did give us good information, although we had heard some of it on other tours.
The promo said that there would be water available, but he didn’t have water except for himself.

Absolutely wonderful. Should not have been allowed to schedule so late in the day though. Several places were closed by the time the tour started. That was a little disappointing, but our guide was fantastic.

We had an amazing tour with Abdul in Fes. Being born and raised in the sold Town he is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of his city. He did a great job explaining the different types of craftsmanship in Fes and how it plays an important part in their lives. The tour was very organic and it had a nice flow to it. To us it felt like a friend was showing us around his city. We highly recommended this tour!!!

We really had great time. Our guide RASHID was perfect. He came on time, showed us everything, also wanted to extend the excursion , but unfortunately we didn't have more time. He took us to the most beautiful cultural places, then we visited some most important craft stores, since FEZ is most known for its crafts. This tour includes everything important you have to see and visit in this amazing city.

Amazing tour. The Fes Medina is very overwhelming and a guide is required to get around. We really got a lot of steps in and saw amazing things. Our guide was really knowledgeable. There are a few sales stops along the way but they are not pushy.

My friend and I loved seeing the old Medina and all the different trades in it. Did the tour soon after arrival in Fez, and it helped make navigating the Old Medina less intimidating and more fun. Seeing the outer walls of the city was also really nice and definitely recommend adding it on. Our guide was amazing and very helpful. I got bit dizzy during the tour and the guide sat with us until we were ready to continue without being rushed.

We had a great tour with Rashid. He took us through the one million tiny alleyways in the medina. Without him, we would probably still be there. He showed us the artisans, explained what they did, explained customs and products and gave us a very good history of his fascinating city. Perhaps the best part of this tour was the trip to the art coop. We got to watch ceramics being made and painted, mosaic artists at work, and earned the processes for both. There is so much to learn and see in Fes and we felt that Rashid packed a huge amount into a half day tour. It was an outstanding experience. Thank you.

Great walking driving tour. Drove from hotel to various sites then walked around. Spent approx 5 hours on this tour. Guide was Rashid He knew every street etc. Anything we asked or requested Rashid would gladly do. He was the best guide. Driver was also so so nice.

My guide Abdul arrived promptly at my hotel. I could not have asked for a better experience than the 4+ hours spent walking and learning about this wondrous and fascinating city. His knowledge far surpassed any guide I’ve ever encountered. The Medina and all within was covered with history and great detail to explaining the making of Fes. The tiles, wood, plaster, craftsmen, baker, carpets, Argan oils, spices, tannery, university, wood museum and so much more. You’re taken to specialty shops ie., carpets, spices, oils, and given ‘an informative pitch’ of their products with hopes they will sell something. Absolutely no pressure. I was not there to buy and made that clear but I appreciated the salesmanship! Be sure and look up⬆️
at all the beauty in the ceilings during your tour.
Abdul himself is a well traveled man with a love and passion for his work and very proud of his city in which he was born.
This tour was by far the best and well spent money ever.

Seeing parts of the Medina that we would never have found on our own. Yahya was excellent at sharing information and answering our questions. We took a rest to have mint tea and cookies with the locals which felt special. The mosaics and the architecture of the mosque was beautiful. We chose this tour because we could start later in the afternoon after we arrived from Casablanca.

Yah Yah was an incredible guide! We booked our tour just 1 hour in advance. Our pick up van showed up early to our hotel - we needed to be dropped off at a different spot in Fes for another excursion later in the day and Yah Yah assured us it would be no problem. He perfectly timed our tour, taking us to the highlights of Fes as well as great views. We never had to wait in a line. The tour was private and, along with getting to see a lot of the Medina, we also visited other spots in Fes and recieved some great history lessons from our guide. There is opportunity to purchase things made by locals but we did not feel pushed or pressured to buy anything at all - all optional. To top things off, Yah Yah insisted that a driver pick us up after our other scheduled activity nearly four hours after our tour had ended and drive us back to our hotel, 20 minutes outside of the Medina, at no additional charge. Exceptional customer service, knowledge, and hospitality. I would highly, highly reccomend!

Great tour!
Yahya is the best guide ever for the medina of Fes with it's thousands of tiny ways and streets. He is very knowledgeable and very helpful with any questions and issues you might have. I joined him for a lunch at a tiny local gem venue - very tasty for a ridiculous price. All in all an amazing your, and you are lucky of you get Yahya as your guide.

Rachid picked me up at my hotel and walked me to the Old City, showing me the new parts of Fes as we went. The tour is long - upwards of four hours - but well worth it. Rachid was friendly, experienced and informative, talking me through the Jewish and Arab sections of the city, showing me various people and their handicrafts, and helping me to navigate the maze of the medina. It's worth noting that every workshop is also a shop, so be prepared for people trying to sell you things, but you'll also see the main synagogue, glimpse at the interiors of sites forbidden for non-Muslims, walk through beautiful gardens and streets, and visit the oldest university in the world. Recommended!

Yahya is an incredible guide. He tailors your experience to exactly what you want to see and has no problem stopping for you to shop, eat, or soak in the sights. Pick up and drop off were also included in a very nice black car.

My family of 5 (3 kids 10, 11, and 11) were promptly picked up from our hotel and taken to the Medina of Fes for an absolutely immersive walking tour of the venue. Our tour guide was nice enough to lend us cash to buy items in the Medina and even haggled with store owners on our behalf. He also gave us tips on how to see Volubilis, Rabat, and Meknes. The tour ended with sweeping views of Fes where the tour guide specifically pointed out the amount of walking we had just done inside the Medina. This was an unforgettable experience.

Very good experience with Yaha. I was able to have the tour custom to what I wanted to see. He explained the history of fes to present day. I booked the tour late in the day but they were able to accommodate. I recommend this tour.

Fes turned out to be our favorite city in Morocco. Part of it has to do with our tour guide, Rashid (also known as the George Clooney of Morocco). We had learned so much about this city, its rich history, amazing people, culture, food, arts and it's mainly because of Rashid. He took the time to walk us through everything, not just the touristy things, but what Fes is all about. Rashid is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide; all guides should really learn a thing or two from this man. Many thanks again and we definitely recommend Rashid to anyone who wants to really get to know Fes.

We had an amazing tour with Khalid! He was such a nice man, an amazing ambassador for his city who seemed to know each and every person we met. He brought us to some amazing shops where we got lots of souvenirs and gave us some incredible recommendations. We can't overstate how good a man Khalid is; he invited us to dinner with his parents the following day and we could tell that he was being 100% genuine. He's so kind!
Notes for tourists: wear walking shoes and be ready to walk quickly if you want to see a lot. Also note that Khalid's English is excellent but his accent is a bit strong, so you may need to ask him to repeat some things if you are unfamiliar with a Moroccan Arabic accent.
If you need any other tours after this, Khalid will happily help arrange things for you. He is a happy and eager resource.

This was a great private tour! We go to see how rugs are made and smell the tannery. We met an amazing lantern designer, Mohammad! Only thing I want to note is that contrary to the picture you are not allowed down by the tannery to take pictures, you can’t only get a shot from the balcony. It was misleading for me because I really wanted to go down there and take a picture but over all this was an amazing tour. The palace doors are beautiful!

My original Fes tour canceled the day of. So I'm happy I had the plan B of taking the train from Casablanca to Fes. It was a little longer than car at 4 hrs but it was my only other option. I was traumatized when we arrived and before I could even call Mohammed, he walked up to us. He was prompt, professional, and gave my friend and I the best personal tour. I would recommend. And his English is great!
