What a great experience! Yahya did an outstanding job of helping me learn the history of Fez and about the beautiful architecture and culture. The walking tour was amazing and worth every penny. I felt safe and had fun! I highly recommend Yahya's tours!

We had an incredible experience exploring the Medina in Fez thanks to our guide. He truly made the city come alive for us. Not only did he take us through all the must-see cultural and historical spots, but he also knew exactly where to go for the best photo opportunities — the kind you would never find on your own. Every turn felt intentional and thoughtfully planned. What really set him apart was the quality of the places he introduced us to. He took us to top-tier artisans — from exceptional weaving workshops to the finest bronze craftsmen and high-quality herbalists. You could immediately tell these were authentic, reputable places, not tourist traps. On top of that, he helped us negotiate fair prices, which made the whole shopping experience comfortable and stress-free. If you’re visiting Fez and want a meaningful, high-quality experience of the Medina, I can’t recommend him enough. He elevated our entire trip.

Great Cultural Experience

Our guide, Yahya, told us before the tour started that he knew the Medina in Fez like the back of his hand, and he was not kidding. His knowledge of the Medina was extraordinary and you could tell he has a real love and passion for it. And what an experience the Medina is. If you’re a “westerner” like me, it likely will be something you have never experienced. Unlike many old historical areas you will see, the Medina is still full of life with almost every building occupied with homes, shops, schools, and centers of worship. A must see if you are coming to Morocco.

Abdul picked us up from our Dar and we visited many must-see spots in the medina, including the Chouara Tannery, 1st Uni of Morocco, several madrasahs, Place Safferine, Agave textile weavers, copper, wood artisans, a d ended the trip with a terrific home cooked lunch at Café Narjarine where we could taste before we order. Abdul is very knowledgeable, passionate and overall super nice guy, we couldn't have asked for a better guide.

Outstanding. Went with Perfect Travel Excursions, local guide was Yahya. He picked us up on time from our Riad. He was professional, honest, and generous with his time and knowledge. I came concerned about safety and navigation and left feeling Fes is safer than home, but also grateful for his lead, because internet was iffy and the best places and most local experience often weren’t mapped! He was knowledgeable, funny, and seems to know everyone, definitely charismatic! We got the locals-only inside scoop, and best part is getting another day with him for a cooking class tomorrow. Best in Morocco, hands down.
