Authentic public hamman

This is not a private spa experience for those who have not done a hamman or if you have done a private spa type hamman. You will go to a public hamman with your massage person...men with men of course, and women with women. You will experience everything naked in a series of open rooms with families and many people bathing self and children all about. Not what I expected but i can say it was a very authentic Moroccan experience.

We joined in a hammam experience in a local bathhouse and were expertly introduced into the rigors of the scrubbing, and washing of the multigenerational women’s experience!

The experience was truly authentic, scrubbing among the locals. Burja (excuse the misspelling pls) took wonderful care of me. To my surprise, the place was quite lively, with women and girls of all ages. There was even a group of young women having a sort of hen party, which was interesting to witness. Not the quiet, silent kind of SPA experience you’d imagine, but definitely an interesting one.

After the experience you'll get your baby skin again... you'll feel very smooth, clean and light.
