First, listen to a safety briefing that explains how to operate your electric self-balancing Segway. Then, strap on your helmet and cruise to Ria Formosa Natural Park, while savoring scenic coastal views along the way. See the Park’s marshes, freshwater lagoons, and tidal flats that comprise this important tranquil habitat. Learn about the hundreds of species that live here during spring and autumn migration periods.
Traverse nature and wildlife surroundings along smooth trails and paths. Then, zip over to Ludo for the park’s best birdwatching. Gaze into your binoculars and scan lush ecosystems for vibrant rosy-pink flamingos and purple swamphen preening their plumage. Listen as your guide explains how the park’s system of barrier islands communicates with the sea and makes a perfect home to its feathered inhabitants.

I travelled with my 12 year old twins. The entire experience was amazing and made so simple from - directions to the meeting point (by uber) - to the friendliness of our guide Joe - learning how to use a segway - the memorable tour Joe gave. Joe had a genuine interest in his customer.

My son and I really enjoyed the Tour, it exceeded our expectations.
Nelson was sooo nice, he was very helpful getting me familiar with riding a Segway.

fabulous trip . Got picked up from a hotel in Faro and headed out for the segways. Very friendly and easy to learn. I bumped into the fence 2x in the first 5 mins but then quickly got hte hang of it and loved it. 13km later am a convert. Tour had birds, salt flats, posh mega houses , golf courses information. In the heat it would have been hard work walking or cycling but this was easy and fun while in the middle of fabulous nature. Cannot recommend enough. Brilliant couple of hours.

Great family activity. Segways were great fun and we saw lovely big houses in Quinta da Lago as well as the nature reserve. Nelson, our guide was really helpful and knowledgable about the area. Would highly recommend.

Great fun. We had never used Segways before, but that was no problem. We were well looked after by our guide. Not so many birds in sight but a few of interest. An enjoyable excursion 👍😎

I really can't rate this highly enough. Our guide, Nelson, met us at the allotted time and could not have been more helpful. This was our first ever Segway adventure and Nelson made it an experience to remember. His knowledge of the local area and the resident bird life was great and he was kind enough to use my camera to record the tour. I would highly recommend this as a great way to spend an hour and a half. Well worth it. Thank you very much.

The activity is a top 10! If you do it in summer, better first thing or last minute, because of the heat. Nelson is a crack! But the experience with Viator very bad, I told them that I could only perform the activity in a specific morning slot, because we had to catch a plane and they really do not know the schedules of the Tour operator. Luckily, the operator, Nelson, arranged it for us, because otherwise we ran out of activity and having paid €406, because Viator forces you to pay without ensuring the chosen schedule (which is what happened to us).
