We had an amazing experience on the rainforest tour! Our guide, Juan, was fantastic—friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the rainforest and its wildlife. Safety was clearly a top priority the entire time, which made the experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. Juan did a great job explaining everything and answering questions while keeping the tour fun and engaging. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Juan as your guide!

This tour was personal and perfect! Juan was amazing and made sure our trip was exactly what we wanted. We had a peaceful hike in the rainforest while learning a ton! My two teens loved the natural slides and jumping off rocks into the river. He even made a stop for lunch and fried ice cream. He was knowledgeable and made sure everything we did was safe. This tour was the highlight of our trip and made us love PR even more!! We hope to do more tours in the future with this company and can’t recommend them enough!! Juan is now part of our family.

Juan is a fantastic guide, and my family had an amazing time in the rainforest! He is knowledgeable about the flora and fauna so the hike to the swimming/jumping area was filled with a lot of great info! It's a muddy and slippery hike, and he provided helmets for us to wear for our safety. Apparently not every guide who does this is trained and credentialed, so if you want a great experience and to stay safe (my kids can be a little clumsy!) then book this tour!

Our Teenagers ( 4) and us adults had a blast on this experience..Juan and Christian Michael were awesome guide with lots of Flora and Fauna knowledge...and were patient and careful during the hike...Safety was their first concern...the kids rope jumped and free jumped in to the water pools over and over and had a blast..we heard the frogs, lizards, and the native birds...def worth doing , esp with these guides... we were a group of 8, so it was private and very nice small group.

Juan is a skilled, prepared, very attentive professional guide who provides more than transit accompaniment up and down a muddy, rocky slippery path to a dunking water hole and water slide. His parties are 6 or fewer, not 15-30 and he provides details of the flora, fauna and cultural history related to the Yunque Rainforest. The participant safety he talks about is not just words because the hike ranges from rocky/uneven to slippery, muddy, washed out tangled tree roots surfaces. Expect to do a complete mud wash after the hike. Moderate to high effort for under 12/over 45 year olds.

Jan was an awesome tour guide. We had him all to ourselves. He was always willing to help get through the tough parts of the trail. Would highly recommend this tour as it was just us and not a huge group like some of the others.

I loved everything about the tour. It was challenging, exciting and I did things I never thought I could do. I loved going down the natural slide, jumping off the cliff and swinging off the rope swing! Jan was my personal guide. He was patient, helpful and very informative about the rainforest and the culture. We had a great time! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone and will return when I visit PR again!

Our private tour with Juan was great. We walked to the river, swam and learned about the elements of the rain forest. Would definitely recommend... we were a group of 4. Much more personal than other groups that had up to 20 people.

I went with my mom to El Yunque—she’s always wanted to go and I wanted to find something off the beaten path, where we could go at our own pace. We went in the off season, on a beautiful day, where it wasn’t crowded, and Adriana, our guide, went above and beyond helping us through (fyi one should be somewhat physically fit for this-there were some vertical climbs/a bit of rock climbing is involved). At one point we had the waterfall to ourselves swimming around, and I appreciated going at our own pace. In my opinion a private guided tour is the best way to do El Yunque and I would highly recommend this tour—ask for Adriana!

Thank you for a great hike through the rainforest! Our tour guide was awesome. Very friendly and personable. We also learned some neat facts about the rainforest! Would 10/10 recommend going with Juan. Small group is better!!

Adriana was our fearless and fun guide for our El Yunque tour. My friend David made all the arrangements so I actually had no idea what to expect. While the hike isn't super difficult it's not your basic hike. However Adriana made me feel comfortable and gently encouraged me at the appropriate times. I appreciated her encouragement and supportive style as well as her knowledge of the rainforest flora and fauna. But most of all I appreciated her fun and sunny personality. I really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend Adriana as a tour guide. 5 stars.

Great hike with a great guide. He was very informative and did not rush the tour at all. He shared his knowledge of the rain forest and made the hike up to the waterfall very easy and relaxing. We hung out up there for a while going down the rock waterslide, jumping off rocks and using the rope swing. It was a fun experience and we would recommend this to others! Great time was had by all 4 of us!

We had a wonderful time with Juan! We were very grateful to be in a private tour, as Juan catered it to what we wanted to do. He took great care of us and our kids and we all had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend using him to anyone. Bring shoes with good grip!
