My family and I had a fabulous time with Louis hiking through the rainforest, rock jumping, and sliding down the waterfalls! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the forest and the species of plants and animals. Would highly recommend this tour to everyone, but be prepared to truly hike and climb. Louis was great with helping us through the trails and the views & different rivers we waded through were so fun!! Be prepared to get muddy and have a blaat!

We had an awesome time exploring El Yunque—definitely one of the highlights of our Puerto Rico trip. The jungle experience, especially the natural water slide and cliff jumping, was incredible and something we’ll remember for a long time.
Gian, our guide, really made the difference. He was knowledgeable, fun, and kept the energy up the whole time while making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does.
The only downside was the long lines at the 10:00 AM spot—it got pretty crowded and slowed things down a bit. That said, once we got past that, everything else was well worth it.
Overall, great experience and even better guide. We’d absolutely recommend it—just maybe try for an earlier or less crowded time if you can.

Gian was a great tour guide. He gave us a phenomenal adventure. Was very helpful with the hike. He gives great advice on keeping you safe and having fun. He was able to capture all the activities for us so we could have fun. Great day and great memories.

We enjoyed the tour of El Yunque with our guide Adynn. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. The hike was short, and somewhat strenuous. This was perfect for us, but it may not be for everyone. The rock slide and cliff jumps were a lot of fun and Adynn made sure everyone had the information to participate safely. The swimming holes were pretty crowded with other tours, but otherwise it was a beautiful tour through the rainforest.

Very fun experience! The self-drive option is great! No waste time on the road or waiting. We gather at morning and took 20min driving to the entrance following our guide who led the way with his motorcycle. Then we walked ~30min to the first location, 10 more min to another. Spent ~1-2h there in total and walk back. The trip is DOES NOT take 4-7 hours as described in many other trip options. The guide was very patient to talk with us about local vegetations and experience. Worth it!

This tour was perfect for us. Our tour guide, Happy, was great! He shared insides about the plants and rain forest in general.
Both, kids and adults had a ton of fun at the water holes, with the slides and rope jumps.

I definitely give this tour and our tour guide, Happy, five stars! We had a great time hiking through the rain forest - crossing rivers, cliff jumping and going down the natural water slide. It was a bit challenging but definitely worth it! Happy was a knowledgeable and fun guide.

It was an great experience. It was raining and it still was fun. We learned alot about the Rain Forest and jumped off a cliff!!! The hike was a bit rocky so wear hiking shoes of possible. Our tour guide Adynn was informative and kind. I would definitely recommend to any thrill seekers and nature enthusiasts.

We did this self drive tour with Louis and had the best time! Meet up coordination was easy, we had two cars following the van - on very narrow and windy roads - to a parking lot (you’ll need $5 cash per car). The hike to the activities was VERY muddy and slippery so wear sturdy shoes with good traction. The waterfall slide, cliff jumping and rope swing were so fun! Louis even took videos and pictures for everyone so no need to bring anything on your hike. Definitely book this excursion!

After some logistics problems were worked out the group met up at a mutually convenient spot, and a thrilling adventure got underway!
Our guide Gian was outstanding with lots of knowledge of the local flora and helpful tips for the group. He really made the experience memorable.
We had a great time and would recommend this to anyone who is moderately physically fit and capable of water activity. Be warmed, there is medium level hiking ability needed for this tour with a fair amount of river wading and steep climbs.
Bring a bathing suit and a waterproof camera. If I had known the details in advance I would have brought both (plus a dry bag) but I managed just fine without them.
Even if you’re not well prepared Gian will make sure you have a great time. He was very kind to everybody in the group and spoke excellent English.

The trip got delayed due to traffic and we started pretty late, but the guides made sure we had explored all the activities. And it was worth it!

It was the most fun tour we have had in Puerto Rico. Lesson learned , wear shoes with good grip. The guide was helpful and funny and we had several river walks/crossings which I wasn’t expecting and made it so much more fun. Ample parking (we did the self transport option). Would highly recommend!

Really fun hike through the rainforest to get to a really neat water feature. Our kids (teens) really enjoyed the adventurousness of the hike as well as the daring waterfall slide and jumps! We would go again. It’d be fun if it wasn’t so busy but we were there over holiday week.
Our guide, Happy, was wonderful. Very mindful of everyone’s needs, kept things light hearted and fun, and shared good info along the way about El Yunque.

Was considering doing this on my own without a tour guide.So glad we booked one now .Louis was knowledgeable about the surroundings with the odd joke thrown in too . To get to the waterfalls could be quite tricky but he patiently helped us navigate .Both Waterfalls were great fun and the free jumping and rope swing at the end made for an awesome experience .Self drive was good also with prompt meet

Gion was our tour guide and we had a blast! It was more strenuous than the original listing indicated but he got us all through. They also communicated well, both the night before and the morning of. Well worth it and so glad we did it! Highly recommend.

The roads to get up to El Yunque are a bit narrow and curvy so having a guide made it so easy. Adynn was awesome, she made sure we were safe the entire time and even pointed out things along the trail we wouldn’t have noticed. She even took pictures and videos of us so we didn’t have to worry about taking our phones!
