A great day from every angle

This was a great day and worth every penny. Our driver, Alex, was superb. Not only was he an excellent driver, he was also very personable, which made the day all the more enjoyable. He made sure we got to see all we wanted, and he added a few more sights, and he still got us back to the hotel by the time we requested. We are totally pleased with Alex and this experience.

Disappointing Day

Our group of 8 were booked with Chauffer Cars Scotland for a private full day shore excursion. The tour operator reached out via email approximately an hour before the tour stating that the driver had been in a car accident and they would have to cancel. I understand that accidents happen and I wished the driver our blessings. As advised we had pre-purchased tickets to Stirling Castle. Viator did refund our tour cost but we lost the cost of the castle tickets because we did not have transportation. I would expect a reputable tour company to be able to offer an alternative. I did reach out to the tour company about the cost of the tickets, but unfortunately they did not respond. I would not recommend using them for a shore excursion.

Eric was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. He personalized our trip based and what we wanted to see. Our favorite part of the day was Stirling Castle and the Kelpies.

Honestly, the guy was nice enough, though 30 minutes late to pickup. Traffic. I got that. We never saw Linlithgow, nor did we get to the distillery. He said, 'it's 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back." He struggled to find the places we did hit even with his navigation. We asked questions but he didn't seem very knowledgeable. We paid a LOT of money for this tour and got very little. I'm disappointed.

We arrived on a cruise in Edinburgh. I made arrangements to have a driver to pick us up at the dock. It all went smoothly. Kenny Watt our driver was awesome. I would definitely do it again.
