This tour was not as interesting as I expected. Our tour guide shared very little information on history and traditions of the island, only briefly mentioning places we passed and making silly jokes. I didn’t learn much. The description for this tour is a bit confusing, so to clarify, it does include horseback riding. However, our experience was awful. First of all, horses were extremely dirty, spooked and most likely sick. One of the participants was thrown off very badly. When I kept asking for the staff to help my daughter because her horse was acting up, no one assisted. I would recommend skipping this activity. Market place is a very difficult experience - be prepared for extreme conditions. Also, the river experience is completely misrepresented - it is a very shallow river where you can’t swim. You have only 45 minutes on Macao beach, which is a little tight for swimming and changing back into clothes. It is best to just have a drink at the bar. We brought our towels and swimsuits for nothing. Chocolate making and tobacco experiences were fine.
