- Transfer pickup takes place at Plaza Regocijo,in Cusco, between 07:45 h and 08:00 h Please arrive at the meeting point within this window. If you arrive after the scheduled time, your absence will be treated as a NO SHOW, with no right to a refund. Our team will be waiting for you near the square's fountain.
- Children under 5 years of age are free of charge as long as they do not occupy a seat.
- If you'd prefer to return to Cusco, the departure time from Ollantaytambo is 17:45 h, with an estimated arrival in Cusco around 19:00 h.
- If you wish to stay in Ollantaytambo to board the train to Machu Picchu, please send us your train departure time. Please note that this tour ends between 17:00 - 17:30 h.
- Because this is a high-altitude tour, we recommend travelers pay attention to how their body is responding and move through the experience at a comfortable pace. Most of the route takes place at altitudes similar to or lower than Cusco's.

Great experience and lovely guide Jhanet! Great way to explore some of the Sacred Valley but never felt too rushed or forcing too many sites. Great lunch too!
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. There were issues with transportation and unsafe driving, but our main concern was the two obvious tourist-trap stops in Pisac and Chinchero.
At both locations, the guide took us directly to a single shop and gave us essentially no opportunity to explore other shops or the local markets. In Chinchero, we were told that the products we bought were made from genuine alpaca wool. We later discovered that they were not actually alpaca, and found essentially the same products at the local market for almost one third of what we had paid.
This felt less like a cultural experience and more like a sales operation designed to funnel tourists into specific shops. We have no problem being introduced to local products, but forcing tourists into selected shops and selling supposedly “alpaca” products at highly inflated prices is unacceptable. We believe Viator should be aware of this when evaluating the tour operator.
Ronnie was an excellent tour guide. He was very easy to understand, he knew a lot about the area, and he was great fun! We really enjoyed the trip overall
The pick up was comfortable but drop-off was not. We realize there was traffic on the return at ollantaytambo, but I wish we were informed in advance that we would have to walk our way to the hotel (in Ollantaytambo, as we picked that option). Other guests returning to Cusco were fine, I think! It wasn’t more than a 10-15 min walk but this is about customer experience. Our guide should have warned us about it in advance.
Lunch was great and visits / breaks between different places were well coordinated. Our guide was fine overall but we did not feel it was an extraordinary tour. We overheard other guides share a lot more history and detail which we didn’t experience from our guide. We’ve definitely had better!
The trip started at 7:45 with a pickup from our hotel. Went to Pisco to see the Incan site, then went into the town of Pisco to shop. Continued on to Urubomba for a teriffic lunch. Not the standard roadside food, but real kicking great culinary experience. Then went Ollantaytambo to drop off a few of our group at train station and continued to the ruins near train station. Loaded up for return to Cusco, but wait…..one more stop at a really cool textile factory. Got back to hotel around 7:15p. It was a great day. Thank you Clara and our fantastic bus driver.

This was an absolute incredible tour!! Very informative, and we got to see all the major sights! It was a long day, but well worth every penny and every minute spent.
I wasnt sure about this tour at first. There was a lack of communication prior. Once the tour guide queoma started talking i knew it was going to be good. David the driver was excellent as well! It was the smoothest bus ride. Queoma had so much information on the history and culture of peru. The pace of the tour was perfect. There was an option to get off at ollytambo instead of going back to cusco which i would do next time. The bus was big and comfortable with big windows to take pictures.

The tour guide - although very nice - didn't speak good english and the content shared was not very informative... We spent 40mins in shops, which when you pay £40 for the tour, i dont think is acceptable.
Loved all the background information from our guide, all the stops were great. We never went to the textile factory which was one of the reasons I booked this tour over some of the others so I was disappointed in that. The silver jewelry making was interesting but mostly just another stop to shop, we got some local food which was some of my favorite in Peru at that little town. Ruins and temples were amazing - some stair climbing required but not terrible. Would do this tour again!!
The Scared Valley Full Day tour was great. Adrien was very knowledgeable, helpful, and entertaining. He went the extra mile to help us locate a pharmacy. It was a great experience. The sites were breathtaking and lunch was delicious as well. I highly recommend this tour.
Very educational visit in the sacred valley. The visit gave us a very interesting vision of the Incas and allowed us to get to know Pisaq and Ollantaytambo very well. A good way to complement the stay in Cusco.
