This is a 47 mile drive over a two lane mostly rural country road that is bumpy, has rock/mud slides on one side, pot holes, cobblestones, at times is a dirt road etc. that our driver did a good effort to avoid, slow down, at times drive on the other side of the road to get a smoother ride. If the train was available, we would have taken that, but this transfer was great for what it was and we hope our transfer driver back to Cusco is just as good as the one up here.

Convenient transport from our hotel in Cusco to Ollantaytamo. Driver was professional and prompt. Come to find out price was more than double the price of a taxi ride, and the taxis are generally nice/newer vehicles.

They were reliable, but don’t let the car fool you, you don’t always get a nice ride to where you’re going. Also, communication was not simple and easy.

I was picked up from my hotel in Cusco and delivered to Ollantaytambo Train Station in a very timely and safe manner. The vehicle was comfortable and was far more enjoyable and convenient than relying on a shared van or bus transport.
