I was picked up from my hotel in Cusco and delivered to Ollantaytambo Train Station in a very timely and safe manner. The vehicle was comfortable and was far more enjoyable and convenient than relying on a shared van or bus transport.

Took airport transportation from Cusco to hotel in ollantaytambo. The coordinator greeted at the airport with sign board and took us to the safely - it was night arrival of my flight. The driver was great.

If you book pick up from airport they charge you more

Booked transfer from airport which says in booking but got told the day before that if I wanted pickup from the airport it would cost extra! That’s not good enough.

You selected the wrong transfer option when making your booking. We explained this to you clearly and provided evidence showing that the airport pickup was not included in the option you booked. Despite this, we did not charge you any additional fee for the airport pickup. Therefore, your complaint and especially the threats you have made are completely unreasonable. We have done our part, explained the situation transparently, and even accommodated you without charging anything extra. Unfortunately, instead of acknowledging the mistake, you continue to make accusations that are misleading and unfair. By presenting the situation this way, you are creating unnecessary hostility and confusing other customers, rather than simply acknowledging that the incorrect option was selected when making the reservation. You are entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to misrepresent the facts or threaten us because you made an incorrect booking selection. Thank you

Poor experience and value for money

Transfer from airport to Ollantaytambo. Car had no passenger seat belts, driver asked if he could pick up his sister to join the journey, he stopped to refuel after 5 minutes, he was taking multiple panoramic photos whilst driving with the other hand around the steep cliff edges, at one point was on a video call and was constantly on calls or leaving voice notes, dropped us off about 15 minutes walk from our hotel with our suitcases as he seemed lost and at that point we just wanted to get out. For the price you pay, this was poor value for money compared to our drivers since and a bad experience.

This statement is simply not true. All of our vehicles are equipped with passenger seat belts. This is a mandatory and fundamental safety requirement for all of our units, and there is no possibility that a vehicle assigned to a customer would operate without them. We also strongly dispute the other allegations made regarding the driver, including claims that he was driving while taking photos, making video calls, constantly using his phone, or driving irresponsibly around steep areas. These accusations are extremely serious, and they do not reflect the standards or procedures of our company. We take passenger safety very seriously and ensure that our drivers and vehicles comply with the required safety standards. We would never allow a driver to put passengers at risk in the manner described in this review. For this reason, we believe that these statements are false and misleading and do not accurately represent the service provided. Thank you.

Fine drive from Cusco airport to Ollantaytambo…once we got in the car

The ride itself was fine after we got into the car. But connecting with the company and driver was terrible. The tour operator said that if pickup is from the Cusco airport, you must specify at booking, so I did that. There was nowhere to provide flight information including arrival time. I assumed they’d request flight information details but they never did. When I landed, the driver was nowhere to be found. I tried calling the tour operator on the telephone number provided in the Viator app and no response. The message said (in Spanish), the number you have called doesn’t exist! I then messages Viator who tried the tour operator and got the same message. They gave me another telephone number to try - same message. They gave me a third number to try and it worked. The tour operator had a driver at the airport in 10 minutes and we got to Ollantaytambo safely. The drive itself was fine but the scramble at the airport, which could have been avoided, was unacceptable.

We would just like to clarify that this was a last-minute reservation, and the booking was originally made for pickup from a hotel in Cusco to Ollantaytambo, not from Cusco Airport. Unfortunately, the booking did not include the correct airport pickup option or the flight information required for us to coordinate the airport transfer in advance. Despite this, once we became aware of your arrival, we were able to coordinate a driver to pick you up at the airport at no additional cost, and the transfer was completed safely. For future bookings, if the pickup is required from Cusco Airport, we kindly recommend selecting the airport pickup option when making the reservation so that the service can be properly coordinated from the beginning. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced at the airport and appreciate your understanding. Thank you!

Great driver-difficult road

This is a 47 mile drive over a two lane mostly rural country road that is bumpy, has rock/mud slides on one side, pot holes, cobblestones, at times is a dirt road etc. that our driver did a good effort to avoid, slow down, at times drive on the other side of the road to get a smoother ride. If the train was available, we would have taken that, but this transfer was great for what it was and we hope our transfer driver back to Cusco is just as good as the one up here.
